One of the strongest community’s I’ve seen in the realm of podcasts. Mike and Tyler are hilarious and relatable hosts who cover a wide range of topics including video game, anime and manga. There is a punk rock, diy aspect of Bonsai that allows for inclusion and a look behind the scenes of what it’s like to grow an independent creative project without sacrificing integrity. These guys are a joy to listen to and really make you feel like you’re apart of the show
Constant pessimism with consisten hate
I enjoy the anime talk, that’s what this show describes itself as. The video game talk is great too , the hosts provide interesting points of views in this reguarding.
On the other side, the banter in between the hosts is constantly degrading to people who don’t share their beliefs. The hosts talks consistently about his sensitivities, mental illness and recreational drug use
They chat about unhealthy habits and they share Then passively insult people who try to take their health in their own hands.
Liked it at first , now it’s a stain on my podcast subscription
A supplement to a great YouTube channel/team
It's an anime & video game adjacent podcast.... that's only spend 12% of is time on anime & video games. Also it's truly entertaining to hear their thought streams & tangents that go on for 15mins+ just too double back to a subject said 39mins ago to prove a point. One moment they are having the most straight laced logical conversation on the 2nd amendment as written in the 1700's versus is 2020's application. Then babaganoush!!
