Writers Blockbusters is an incredibly entertaining and informative podcast, a deep dive into the magic behind how movies are written. I am not a screenwriter or moviemaker by any stretch of the imagination, but I have been enriched by learning the psychology behind how these stories are crafted and the way it affects us as the viewer. Equally technical and soul searching, the hosts aren’t shy to share their life experiences and I appreciate it deeply. Now, let’s take a look at that box office!

Writers/Blockbuster is one of my favorite movie podcasts to listen to. Bob, Jamie, and Jimmy all give really interesting insight not just into the world of screenwriting but also storytelling in general. They’re all really funny to listen to and make you feel like you’re apart of their movie appreciation club. To say I missed them during quarantine would be an understatement. As someone who has their own deep affinity with film, it’s refreshing to hear this trio break down scripts to their base elements in a clear and precise manner. They provide an authentic look at the process and I’m incredibly grateful for every episode.
