Dave is great

Dave does such a good job getting the gist across to the listener. The only downside is when the guests complain about the book without at least being funny about it. Dave is always great though!

Usually Great

Fantastic spin-off from Do Go On. Fun guests and great retellings from Dave that really paint a full picture of the books or poems he’s reading. Highly recommended even if you have read the books. Only episode that has a not been good is the Earnest episode where Mish and Zachary are complete arrogant snobs about theater and the theater going experience. They tear others down while circle-jerking each other. Please Dave, do not have them on ever again.

Fun and informative

So listening to the podcast you hear about books and basically learn the whole plot line, which is helpful if you want to look smart or whatever:) But even if you just listen to the pod for fun or to relax it’s great because the conversation is so kind and fun and the discussion of the books works really well to just listen to the story. I’ve been listening to episodes of books I’ve already read and it’s so fun to be able to reread the book in the space of an hour! I completely recommend this pod in case that wasn’t already clear and I will be sure to rate it 5 stars with all my other accounts! (That was a joke. I’m kidding. Listen to the podcast though it’s a lot of fun.)
