Hope took Brooke on a field trip where we spent the night mesmerized, and obviously we're going to tell you all about it.     In this episode of the Bookish and Bubbly podcast, your girls ARE BACK!!! We took a much needed break and are back with a previously recorded episode on My Friends by Fredrik Backman. We start out the meeting by having a team meeting (want another hotties who have our heart ep? Comment below and let us know!) before diving into the very interesting writing style of Fredrik Backman. We wrestle with our thoughts on the book, but really had a lot of takeaways from this story.     I CANNOT GO TO JAIL, I WILL NOT SURVIVE (One of the Girls by Lucy Clarke)

    In this last episode of our Summer Series (we know we’re late 🤭), the bookish and bubbly podcast will discuss a summery thriller that will keep you guessing: One of the Girls by Lucy Clarke. The book was fine, but we mostly talk about Brooke’s K-Pop Demon Hunters journey (which also equals Hope’s journey), Hope’s love of Magnolia Parks (@bailey, I still love you!!) that fully consumes her life, the key to being besties with Brooke, Halloween plans, a quick tangent on how Adam Sandler was a hottie, and an ending of what we would do if we found ourselves in a situation like the girls in this book and someone is dead, and we’re trying to avoid jail. Spoiler alert: Hope’s going to jail, but will not survive. We hope you enjoyed our summer series, and will join us for the fall! P.S.     In this episode of the Bookish and Bubbly podcast, Hope and Brooke talk about a book that shows the injustices towards women…annnnnnnnnd go on a rant about how, as Beyoncé said, We (SHOULD) Run the World. We start out the episode talking about thrifting, selling clothes to Clothes Mentor for pennies, and a plea to Old Navy to stay in your lane! We then move into talking about the book, Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which leads into an in-depth discussion (read: rant) on how women should be handed the baton to run things, because let’s be real we’re bad asses.
