It has been a few months since I found my way up the Red Carpet, and it was unreal to sit down and work my way through the race in story mode. As highlighted, this is a Race Review, I tried to keep it factual and race related, I look forward to dropping part 2 were i unpack the Mental Health Journey, and dive deeper into some of the elements that made the great day as big as it was!  The next part will also allow me space to answer any questions you have regarding Kona and/or my story. Really keen to motivate as many humans as possible to pursue their own Ironman journeys in 2025!

Biggsy isn't your usual runner, he is strong and carries a big frame from years of rugby and paddling surf boards. He was continually being told his body wasn't built for the sport, let alone 48 hours of it. Luckily, he had a mindset that refused to listen, and when you pair that with a expert who is passionate in efficient movement, you get an injury free 48 hour run. It was unreal to have Jon in the studio to learn more about how he got Biggsy going, his history in the field, common mistakes by runners and running professionals, as well as discussing the future.
