    LGBTQIA and Gender Identity

    LGBTQIA with the ever growing acronym I sit down with two of my male friends to discuss sexual discovery, categorization, gay bashing, preference, rights, gender identity in schools and the media. What makes someone attracted to the same sex? What is the appropriate age for children to explore same sex in movies, lessons and even amongst themselves? When can someone as small as child classify themselves as lesbian, bi-sexual or gay?     From conception: Baby Mama vs Baby daddy

    When one night stands, flings and situationships lead to unplanned pregnancy should men have a say so in a women’s right to chose? If a woman chooses to have a baby with a man who wants nothing to do with her or the baby should the man be obligated to still support the baby? Why it is super IMPORTANT to get to know someone before engaging in sexual activities, especially unprotected, especially in cases that can lead to the possibility of pregnancy. Also why BOTH sides have to be accountable and take responsibility whether accidental or intentional. Do accidental pregnancies give way to toxic co-parenting? We also discuss the obligations of the father to the child and the obligations of a mother to a child. Who should pay child support? Also how parents can gauge what is considered good support for a child both financially and morally. What it means to be a present and active parent. How parenting and support differs for parents who are present in the household vs those who are not. How absentee parents and/or parents who provide little to no support increase the chances of their child(ren) undergoing changes in their adolescent and teenage years, in school and amongst their peers. These changes can alter the lives of the child(ren) forever and range from low self esteem, being bullied, becoming a bully, feeling suicidal and even turning to a life or crime, gangs or drugs.     Remote Learning: The gift & the curse (is the system failing your kids)

    Undoubtedly COVID-19 has flipped everyone’s world around but the most impacted have been the children who have had to make extreme and sudden adjustments. Confined to their homes, away from the friends and all that they know their parents, siblings or caregivers have now become their teachers. Whether it was guiding them, assisting them or advocating for them... distant learning/remote learning has proven to be a challenge for families from all walks of life, big or small. Families had to deal with obstacles like overcrowding in the home, inadequate devices, feeding their families, some were laid off and struggled to pay bills, finding childcare (for essential workers) and learning how to navigate programs from zoom to I-ready, language barriers, technology knowledge, with little to no correspondence or help from overwhelmed school administrators and educators alike. While the uncertainty of the pandemic loomed uncertainty over our heads and kept our children looked inside some flourished while others fell by the waist side due to an unprepared structure from an outdated school system that has failed our kids time and time again.     Are you prepared for the man you want?

It also addresses how to move through dating phases and while many women want the ring and the wedding they may not realistically be prepared to fulfill the duties and obligations that come with being a wife.     The Controversy surrounding BUYING BLACK

    It’s Christmas time and rumor has it you should be supporting black businesses but do ALL black businesses deserve your support? 2020 was the year of “Black Lives Matter” and “buy black” and while most businesses blossomed, thrived and built strong lasting bonds with customers and communities others tanked. Unprofessionalism gets you no where, neither does over charging, having a nasty attitude or poor demeanor, selling used/worn clothes, lumpy cakes, cancelling appointments, failing to be attentive, rendering poor services, selling/serving burnt or undercooked food and a long list of other unbecoming behavior for business professionals. This episode gives classic examples of things that make you wanna say “support my a%!”
