    This time we are chatting about season 1 of Grace and Frankie! We discuss how Grace and Frankie reacted in radically different ways to Robert and Sol’s announcement but end up helping each other. We also talk about how Grace was so wrapped up in herself and her life so much that she never saw Frankie even though their kids were basically raised together. Lastly, we discuss how Robert and Sol failed to realize how much their families would be impacted, no matter how old the kids were. We discuss how the criminals in this procedural are not very good at crime and how the investigators tend to just fall into solving many of these. We also talk about the lack of depth to the main characters and how David is so annoying from today’s lens that you tune him out while Maddie’s character gets siloed into multiple tropes. This is considered the first successful dramedy so we knew we had to cover it.
