We discuss how this British superhero show is an important representation as there are very few other Black lead superheros, especially in TV. We also chat about the only female lead, Sabrina, and the possibilities as to why there aren’t any others. Lastly, we analyze their powers and how they work well with each character.     Do Crime Better! - the theme of the episode. This time we are covering season 1 of Moonlighting from the 1980s! We discuss how the criminals in this procedural are not very good at crime and how the investigators tend to just fall into solving many of these. We also talk about the lack of depth to the main characters and how David is so annoying from today’s lens that you tune him out while Maddie’s character gets siloed into multiple tropes. This is considered the first successful dramedy so we knew we had to cover it. We also discuss how the show has no references unlike most media nowadays as it is set 12,000 years in the future! Lastly, we cover how the show portrays corporations and how it is applicable to our world. Ultimately, we chat about how it is just super funny this British comedy because it is based on events of the creator, Steven Moffat.
