I recently discovered the podcast and feel that the content is extremely important in the AV industry. There seems to be an endless amount of information, videos, podcasts, etc on the technical side of our work, but very little is ever spoken about the culture and related issues. Britt Yenser, CTS tackles the difficult topics (workplace harassment, discrimination, toxic masculinity, imposter syndrome, women/minority inclusion, authenticity, burnout, community, etc) by having authentic conversations with other professionals in the industry. Although many of the topics are heavy, there are positive messages and solutions throughout. Everyone can benefit from not just hearing these conversations, and the guest's stories, but really digesting the topics, helping spread awareness, and taking action to improve the whole industry's culture.

I have struggled in our industry for years with insecurity myself. Listening to this podcast this week finally made me feel seen/less alone. Some of the subject matter is hard to hear but the conversations need to be heard and it really makes you take a hard look at your own behavior and the behavior of the people around you. Conversations, like the ones on brAVe space, are going to benefit all of us. This is a podcast everyone should listen to and I can’t wait for more content.
