    In Todays Talk,  I examine three components that must be present for a friendship to be deep, real, and meaningful.  These overlap with the qualities that must be present for a friendship to flourish. Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts. Proverbs 27:9TPT. God wired us for connection. We need others. We need healthy connections with others to thrive. The lack of these deep intimate friendships causes loneliness to foster. Even science agrees that the cure for loneliness is not many new friendships but rather deeper, more quality friendships where we are fully seen and fully known. These deep Friendships are the kind that can refresh and awaken our hearts; they’re supposed to be satisfying and add meaning to our lives.
