He was called into full-time ministry in 2005, after 25+ years in the Information Technology field of the Financial Services Industry. As an Enterprise Architect, he helped lead major organizational transformation efforts and served as an internal technology consultant to various business lines and corporate functions.
For this season of his life, Rob has been called into full-time ministry to glorify the Lord by encouraging, edifying and equipping Christian leaders in the Marketplace – helping them find joyful Spirit-filled ministry as disciple-making transformation agents (through inLight Consulting).

After working for several years as an engineer and consultant at remarkable companies, I have embarked on an exhilarating journey as the CEO of an exceptional team at Amalga Composites. Our legacy as leaders in composites manufacturing dates back to 1966, and today, we continue to be pioneers in the industry and are driven by our unwavering desire to solve the most difficult engineering challenges our customers face today. 
My passion lies in engaging in discussions that revolve around unraveling complex issues, as we endeavor to enhance the efficiency and durability of products for pneumatic, automotive, aerospace, defense, and space application.

Looking ahead, I am excited to continue to help our customers find new applications for composite materials. The future of composites is bright given their versatility, and our team at Amalga is determined to remain at the forefront of innovation.

Immigrants make up around 23% of Canada's population, but account for 33% of business owners with paid employees; and the U.S. has similar trends. In other words, immigrant entrepreneurs are a key driver of business and economic development. This is not surprising, as many immigrants arrive with significant skills, experience, and knowledge.

However, immigrant entrepreneurs can also face significant barriers to success. Their previous experience and qualifications may not be recognized or accepted here. They can face cultural and language barriers. They face the challenges of building a business in an unfamiliar environment, where they may have few or no connections or networks to help and support them.
I have more than 25 years experience working in other cultures; two decades of experience starting multiple businesses; two decades of experience in cultural coaching services; and over 15 years of business coaching experience. I brought all of this together to create Cultural Capital Coaching, a coaching service designed specifically with immigrant entrepreneurs in mind, to empower, encourage, and motivate them to achieve greater success.
