Breaking Dishes

What a wonderfully done program!! In a time when most podcast’s are unfulfilling and less than impressive, Lis delivers a quality experience. With the stylistic approach of master story teller; her diction, and vocal cadence relaxes the listener into a very reflective state. Delivered with a calm demeanor, Lis is disarming and allows one to be present in the moment….a reality that amplifies the meaningfulness, receptivity and impact of her message.

I enjoy Breaking Dishes for two reasons: 1) Lis Malone’s delivery is smooth and calm and so easy to listen to; there’s a meditative quality to the sonic experience. And 2) the message is inspiring and fresh.

I tend to focus on the negative part of change. I tend to compare myself and my situation(s) to others and how much “better” they are doing than I am. Lis gave me a new perspective on making the best of the opportunities and a new chance to make a new beginning. I appreciate her transparency and candidness.

“Breaking Dishes” is an intriguing podcast that is easily digestible for anyone looking to enlighten themselves. The host, Lis Malone, does an amazing job taking you on a journey of the topic at hand, which (hopefully) provides listeners with a new perspective of the topic in question. Lis’ no holds barred approach is refreshing and keeps the podcast simplistic and effectively relatable for the average listener. For all you ASMR junkies out there, Lis’ voice is angelic and soothing where even if you don’t agree with the viewpoints provided on an episode, at least you’ll depart with a positive vibe.
