As the wind and solar industries developed, pioneers like John Eber have played a key role in helping developers leverage future tax credits to access much-needed construction capital. But currently this ammonia is produced from natural gas and leads to heavy carbon emissions – this sector alone accounts for 1.2% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Clean ammonia can be made from green hydrogen, which is produced from water and renewable electricity, allowing us to feed the world’s population while protecting the planet.
