For this episode of Brewstilled, we’ll be exploring a unique beer scene that has been surrounded by intrigue and mystery, the beer scene in North Korea. For many North Korea is an enigma that unfolds like a rubrics cube that can’t be solved. With all of the mysteries of this isolated regime, the North Korean regime has invested in its own beer scene that has captured the imagination of beer enthusiasts all around the world. Along with their beer scene, North Korea also has a lively drinking culture that possibly provides an escape from dismal life in the isolated regime. In this edition of Brewstilled, I’ll be discussing North Koreas beer scene and the role it plays in this regime of mystery. 

It’s a recap of the 2024 NFL draft in The House of The Lombardi here on the Brewstilled podcast. In this episode, I recap the top storylines that came from the draft and how they can alter the NFL landscape in the 2024 NFL season. In the draft we saw some surprise choices such as when the Atlanta Falcons drafted Michael Penix Jr. What does the Atlanta move mean for Kirk Cousins? The Cowboys also may have lost out on a potential All Pro Player. The Chargers also resisted trade offers for Kirk Cousins. It was a unique draft in where the House of The Lombardi teams gave in to temptation while also trying to fills gaps in their roster. For this episode of Brewstilled, I’m joined by Arthur from Full Circle Brewing Company in Fresno California. Arthur is also the owner of the Speakeasy Brand in San Francisco California. Combined Full Circle and Speakeasy has become a leader in the craft beer world and is also the largest black owned craft brewery in the United States. Arthur is also a member of the board of directors for the California Craft Brewers Association. This draft will also feature a class of Quarterbacks with rising stock  value, but just how good will this years class of Quarterbacks be? Could some teams be a dark hoarse to draft a Quarterback? For this episode of Brewstilled, I’m joined by Portland Oregon based beer writer and podcaster Jeff Alworth. Jeff is the author of the Beer Bible and is a leading expert on beer. He’s also the writer of the blog Beervana. In this episode I talk with Jeff about a wide array of beer topics such as his start as a beer writer, podcaster, where craft beer is today and beer in general. We also discussed what maturity looks like for a city’s beer scene. The topic of beer as a whole is discussed as we as beer drinkers may need to see beer beyond the craft beer label. For this edition of Brewstilled, the NFL returns as we are now in the NFL season year for the 2024 season. It’s also the return of the House of the Lombardi, the theme for the NFL here on Brewstilled. For this episode, I’ll be discussing the 10 NFL teams for this year’s edition of the House of The Lombardi. Some teams were part of last year’s edition while some are new. They all have their own storylines, struggles and goals. Yet, they have the same quest to get the Lombardi Trophy. I’ll be talking about these 10 teams and what is to come in the months to come before the NFL season starts.
