    Season 2, Episode 6: Pete Mancini

    Sharing a batch of pumpkin cream cheese waffles for this episode with Long Island singer songwriter Pete Mancini. Pete has opened up for bands like Gin Blossoms and Blues Traveler, has had opening slots both as a solo artist and with band Butchers Blind. He has been in the game for quite some time and shares his journey with us from how he maintains his creative flow state as well how he stays mindful when he's out on tour.     For this episode, we get a different view of the Long Island music scene from Heather Hall, shop owner of clothing brand Baad Beach.  Heather gets real, authentic, and unapologetic about her non-negotiables when it comes to running a sustainable brand that supports art in all forms.  She gives encouragement for all of us to lead the next line of elder emos into a community that is supportive and true.  She also shares a local Long Island band, that if you don’t already know, you will fall in love with.    Head to our ig for this episode’s recipe, as well a chance to win a shirt from Heather’s new line!     This brunch session is brought to you by orange cranberry mini waffles and bad ass fiddle playing!  After brunching with Long Island violinist, Keri Mahoney, we felt all the music inspiration, and now we just might have to see if we remember how to play the instruments we played in high school.  After leaving her classical roots, Keri shares her journey to collaborating  with musicians of genres spanning from emo/pop punk to country. She also talks about how being a musician on the local music scene has changed in this age of social media.

    Episode 7: Chris J. Connolly

    We whipped up some chocolate cherry mini waffles for our sit down with Long Island acoustic singer/songwriter Chris J. Connolly.  Chris shared his experience with being on a record label after moving here from England, and The Warped Tour Band's Anthony Scarfuto joins us in the questioning!
