Well done. You’ve sorted through the embarrassment of riches that is the modern podcast landscape and found me, Rob Brydon, on my podcast. In this season of Brydon &, I talk to, among others: Harry Hill, Ben Elton, Julia Davis, Steve Coogan and Dame Harriet Walter. It’s terrific conversation, full of anecdotes and reminiscence where appropriate.

From Horrible Histories to haunting performances, this week's guest never plays The Wrong Mans- it’s Mathew Baynton. Rob explores what it was like working on the star studded, highly anticipated Wonka, Mathew’s upcoming role as Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and stepping into new characters in the crime dramas Murder is Easy and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. The pair also discuss what to expect in the final episode of the hit BBC series Ghosts.

We’re kicking off the episode this week with a star from the stage and screen who’s always on the ball - Joseph Fiennes. From Tudor England to dystopian fantasies and even playing the great bard himself, he’s in a league of his own. Rob dives into Joseph's latest West End play, Dear England, where he plays the legendary former footballer and manager Gareth Southgate. The pair share stories of their first film together and Joseph reveals who has the biggest hands in Hollywood…
This week on the pod Rob is joined by a guest who has done it all - from pink castles and hair-brained inventions, to fibbing in the heat and that’s just getting into The Thick of It… Yup that’s right- it’s Miles Jupp! Rob and Miles chat about his latest tour, revealing that it's inspired by the life-changing discovery of a brain tumour. Miles shares his story candidly and with humour, telling Rob what the experience taught him. They also discuss Miles’ upcoming role in Napoleon and why working with Hugh Laurie put him in the right place at the right time.
Joining Rob this week is a guest who has taken a break from sleuthing in the Shetland isles. Straight from the pages of MODE magazine, she’s more than just an Extra, it’s the one and only Ashley Jensen. Rob finds out about Ashley's first big break, what makes Ricky Gervais stop telling jokes and what it was really like working with Samuel L. Jackson, David Bowie and Ben Stiller. Rob also explores Ashely’s new starring role in the BBC drama series Shetland.
This week Rob speaks to 50% of a comedy duo who packs 100% of the punch. You might know him from The Armstrong & Miller Show but we’re not talking about the Pointless one. That’s right, it’s Ben Miller. Join Rob as he explores the stories behind Armstrong & Miller's first big break, how Norway’s third most popular band came to be and what surprises were in store for Ben on his first day of filming Death in Paradise. Ben also treats Rob to a reading from his latest book Once Upon a Legend!
Listen Now: Legacy
Afua Hirsch and Peter Frankopan tell the wild stories of some of the most extraordinary men and women ever to have lived – and ask whether they have the rep they deserve. Should Nina Simone’s role in the civil rights movement be more celebrated than it is? When you find out what Picasso got up to in his studio, can you still admire his art? Was Napoleon a hero or a tyrant - or both? (And, while we’re at it, was he even short?) Legacy is the show that looks at big lives from the perspective of now – and doesn’t always like what it sees.

Rob is a really good casual interviewer that has unique interviews with some of Britains best. I’m from the US but love the British humor and insight. Such fun
I was disappointed in the interview. He asked great questions!! He just didn’t allow Alfie to answer them. Next time Alfie is on his show continue asking great questions please sit quietly allow him to answer.
Love these conversations, they’re always fun as well as inspiring to listen to. Already a big fan of Rob Brydon and so glad this podcast exists so we can hear more of him!
