    Back in the days before satnavs we used the trusty A-Z Roadmap You could purchase an A-Z for a particular city and every single road in the city was indexed with a map reference With some good map reading skills, you could find your way around in a new city without too much hassle - but you would always need to have the A-Z book to hand, to refresh your memory, double check your bearings and refer to it if you ended up taking a wrong turn. The bible is much like the A-Z Roadmap - in its pages are indexed every road, street, and cul-de-sac that life may present us with - and by reading it we are guided out of calamities and into blessings.     Those of you that remember the Terminator series will know that these cyborgs were 100% determined to fulfill whatever mission they were assigned - no ifs/no buts. As believers, God has also given each of us an assignment to complete and we are accountable to submitting to that calling. The reality is that oftentimes we are gripped by fear and doubt and sometimes even attempt to escape the assignment; effectively going AWOL.     S2: EP13 - MEN IN TOUGH TIMES | MY STORY: GLEN EASY

    An extended interview with Glen Easy discussing his experience and his journey after his daughter, Chanel died suddenly in her sleep aged just 16yrs old.  Glen shares his fond memories of a beloved daughter and the events that led up to this tragedy. He talks about how this event challenged his Christian faith, the questions he wrestled with and how in the darkest times of despair he battled thoughts of suicide. It was a simple book given to him by a well-wisher that ultimately acted as the catalyst that helped Glen to begin to turn his life back around and move out from the shadows of self-pity that had almost consumed him. Today Glen is able to live with a refreshed purpose, spurred on by the memory of Chanel and the charity work he does with the British Heart Foundation. We are hopeful that Glen's story will go some way to helping/encouraging someone out there who may be dealing with a similar issue or feeling hopeless. May his story act as proof that life can still  be fruitful after the death of a loved one, by the grace of God and the love and support of family and friends.     S2:EP11 - MARKETPLACE MINISTRY, Part 3

    The automatic assumption is that ministry can only happen under the banner of the organised church. So the pastor, youth worker, Sunday school teacher etc. are all believed to be “in ministry” but the person who holds no official position in church and spends the week as a postman, office worker, manager or is a homemaker is not classed as being in ministry. We have somehow equated ministry with a church position/title when in reality “ministry” (or being a minister) is something far more integral to who we are outside of the church setting. In this episode we explain how your role in the workplace is effectively that of a missionary. What is the difference between "verbal witnessing" and "witnessing by deed/action"?
