Built for Confidence: You Have the Goods Stop wondering if you’re doing it right and start relying on the instructions you’ve already been given. In this episode, Coach Paul Ybarra challenges you to stop the "I hope" cycle and step into the reality that everything you need is already inside you. Where We Are Going: The Source Strategy: Jesus is the vine; you are the branch. A branch doesn’t exhaust itself trying to produce fruit—it simply stays connected.Identify the Disconnection: If you aren’t moving in the right direction, it’s a connection issue, not a talent issue.Give God Access: Just like a technical fix requires giving the expert access to your account, you must give the Holy Spirit access to your life to identify the "missing code" in your strategy.Rapid Propagation: When you follow the specific instructions from the Vine, the results—the fruit—will manifest faster than you expect. The bottom line: You don't have to convince yourself you're a branch. S. 2 E. 10 Moving from What You Do to Who You Are

Episode Overview In this episode, Paul Ybarra explores the essential shift from finding identity in "what we do" to "who we are" in Christ. Drawing from a morning walk spent in silence, Paul shares insights on entering a new season and the importance of being willing to release past achievements to stay aligned with God's purpose. Key Takeaways The Power of Unplugging: Paul discusses the necessity of cutting through the "clutter" and social media noise to hear clearly from God.The Identity Question: A powerful reflection on a lesson learned in recovery ministry: "If you are what you have and you lose it, then who are you?".Role vs. Identity: Paul emphasizes that he is not "Paul the Podcaster" or "Paul the Coach," but rather Paul who podcasts and Paul who coaches. This distinction ensures your value isn't tied to your business or tagline.Scriptural Foundation: Our true identity is found in Genesis 1:26-28, being created in God's image and likeness, and as a new creation in Christ.Weekly Execution Plan Paul challenges kingdom builders to take immediate action: Identify: Where is your identity anchored today?.Plan: What is your specific action plan for this week?.Execute: What is the specific result you are looking for by Friday at 6:00 a.m.?.Call to Action Community & Accountability: To stay connected and receive text updates throughout the month, text the words "text me" to 719-509105.Direct Outreach: For speaking engagements, feedback on how the podcast is impacting your life, or to "do life" together, please email Paul Ybarra at coachpaulybarra@lifecoachpaul.com.Support the Show: If you found value in this episode, please leave a review, drop a comment, and share this with other business owners looking to scale for the Kingdom.Closing Thought "Confidence in Christ is everything that we need". S. 2 E. 9 The Power of Reconnection: Granting God Access to Your Account

Welcome to another episode of Built for Confidence, the podcast where I help kingdom builders like you rebuild your identity, sharpen your clarity, and lead with conviction. In this episode, I want to share a revelation I received about the importance of heading back to the source. For two months, I struggled with email issues because I was looking for external results for an internal problem. Once I went to the actual source of the service, everything was resolved almost instantly. Key Takeaways from This Episode: Granting Permission: Just as a technician requires permission to access an account to find a disconnection, God asks for access to everything inside of you to identify where you have been disconnected from Him.Internal vs. External: We often reach for external results in our businesses or ministries when we actually need to return to the source for the internal solutions we require.God is Your Source: I want you to know confidently that God has everything mapped out, and He is simply waiting for you to come to Him with your questions. The Power of Reconnection: When you are reconnected to the source, you can finally receive the information and fluid movement you have been missing.Connect With Me: I am passionate about helping business owners grow, scale, and expand for the Kingdom of God. S. 2 E. 8 Whoever Finds Wisdom, Finds Life: A Deep Dive into Proverbs 8

On this April 8th, we are diving deep into Proverbs 8 to discuss the Excellence of Wisdom. To me, wisdom isn't just something you get from a textbook; it’s what we learn when we’re on a mission, making mistakes, and choosing to return to the Lord and his Word. In this episode, I explore: The Foundation of Wisdom: How wisdom was present before the foundations of the world were even created—it is a core principle of God’s design. The Power of Consistency: Why wisdom is found in "watching daily" at the gates and staying disciplined in our focus.Finding "Life" in the Daily Grind: Wisdom isn't just for the big moments; it’s for your day-to-day routines, your business, your marriage, and your connections. Whoever finds wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.Scriptures Mentioned: Proverbs 8:32-36: "For whoever finds me finds life and attains favor from the Lord".Luke 11:28: "Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it".Join the Conversation: I want to know: What is that one area of your life where you need "life" poured in today? Is it your finances, your business, your family, or your marriage? Drop a comment below and let me know. S. 2 E. 7 Plugging Back into the Source: Internal Solutions for External Problems

Welcome to Built for Confidence, the podcast where we help kingdom builders rebuild identity, sharpen clarity, and lead with conviction. I am your host, Coach Paul Ybarra, and today’s episode is a bit different because I’m sharing a revelation that hit me just two hours ago. In this episode, I’m getting vulnerable about a "tech debacle" I dealt with for over a month and how it perfectly mirrors our spiritual walk when we get disconnected from the Father. Inside This Episode: The 45-Day Email Struggle: I spent weeks frustrated because my domain email wasn't working, forcing me to tell people to reply to a different address. I tried to ignore it and "let it ride," but the worry stayed with me.Going to the Source: I finally stopped trying to fix it myself and contacted Google support. Within five minutes, a real person gave me the exact "MX records" I needed to copy and paste. The moment I followed the instructions, my connection was restored.Outside Sources vs. Internal Solutions: I realized I had been going to outside sources (like my website registrar) to fix a problem that was actually at the internal source (Google). Spiritually, we often do the same—looking for external fixes for internal soul problems when God is right there waiting.God as the Ultimate Consultant: Just like that support agent, God is a gentleman who needs our verbal permission to "enter our account". He doesn’t always fix it for us; instead, He gives us the tools, the code, and the placement so we can function properly. The "Copy and Paste" Season: I believe God is telling us to slow down, listen to His voice, and implement exactly what He says. When we reconnect to the Source, we can finally receive everything that has been waiting in our "account".Key Takeaway: When you tap into the right Source, you never have to look externally for what God can provide internally. If you’re feeling a lack of confidence or clarity today, it’s time to plug back into the Source. Connect & Build: If this word blessed you, please drop a review, leave a comment, and subscribe. S. 2 E. 6 The Light and the Guardrails: Building Confidence Through Instruction

In this episode of Built for Confidence, Coach Paul Ybarra dives into a single, powerful verse from the Book of Proverbs to start the week of April 6th. He explores how God’s commandments and instructions act as both a guiding light in the darkness and the essential "guardrails" that keep our lives and businesses in alignment. If you’ve been feeling second-guessed or out of alignment, this conversation will help you tap into the confidence that is already inside you by getting real with God's structure for your life. Key Highlights The Anatomy of a Lamp: Paul breaks down Proverbs 6:23, explaining that the commandment is the "lamp"—the structure that holds everything together—while the law is the "light" that illuminates the good, the bad, and the ugly in our lives.Life’s Guardrails: Using the imagery of driving through the Rockies, Paul discusses how the "reproofs of instruction" act as guardrails. They tell us the truth about where we are and keep us from going off the path.Confidence from the Inside Out: Confidence isn't something you have to build through outward "muscle" alone; like faith, it is already within you. It is accessed by following the path God has set and embracing His plan and purpose. From Darkness to Clarity: Paul shares a brief reflection on his own journey from a dark place where he lacked confidence because he wasn't following instructions, to finding clarity through God's word.Scripture Reference "For the commandment is a lamp and the law a light, reproof of instruction are the way of life." — Proverbs 6:23Connect with Coach Paul Ybarra Are you a business owner looking to grow, scale, and expand for the Kingdom of God? Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Happy Resurrection Sunday! I am so glad you’re here with me today to celebrate not just the death and rising of our Savior, but the incredible power behind it. In this episode, we’re stepping away from our usual Proverbs study to focus on the one who died on the cross for our sins—the only lamb worthy to give us redemption. We look at Matthew 28:5-6, where the angel reminds us that He is not in the grave; He is risen! Here is what we’re diving into today: The Power in You: The same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives inside of you and me. It’s the authority we carry every day to overcome obstacles in our lives, businesses, and leadership, even when we feel defeated.Leaning on Him: We reflect on Proverbs 3:5-6, reminding ourselves to lean not on our own understanding but on the one who redeemed us. I share how I went from being "broke, busted, and disgusted" to being fully redeemed because a debt was paid for my life.My Personal Turning Point: I share a bit of my story from January 9, 2005. I was "going to church," but I hadn't yet felt the resurrection on the inside until I finally got on my knees, exhausted and depleted, and asked God to loose the chains.Getting Better, Not Easier: Walking with Christ doesn't mean life becomes easy, but it means you get better through serving Him and serving others. As I always say, my worst day as a believer is still better than my best day out in the world.Beyond the Tradition: Today is about more than the mac and cheese, the ham, or the Easter eggs. It’s a time for deep reflection on the fact that without Christ, we wouldn't be here.I want to hear from you! What was that "one day" for you—the moment you finally gave your life over to Christ? Please drop a comment and share your story with me; I would love to read about your journey. Thank you for all your support as this mission grows. Have an awesome day, and I’ll talk to you soon! S. 2 E. 4 Finding Your Footing on the Right Path

Welcome back, Kingdom builders! I’m Paul Ybarra, and we are continuing our 31-day transformation journey through the Book of Proverbs. Today is Day 4, and I’ve got to tell you, the word "path" kept jumping off the page at me. We’re cutting through the noise today to talk about where you’re walking and how to lead with conviction right where God has placed you. The Recipe for Results I want you to think about instruction like a recipe. If you see a dish on TikTok and you want that exact result, you follow the recipe to a tea. It’s the same with your life and your business. Proverbs 4:10-11 tells us that when we receive God’s sayings and walk in the way of wisdom, our years will be many and we will be led in the right paths. If you want your vision to become a reality, you have to stay on the path God has set for you. Navigating Frameworks and Avoiding the "Stupid Path" Listen, we’ve all been there—drifting into the wrong direction without even realizing it. Proverbs 4:14 is clear: stay off the path of the wicked. In business, this means having the discernment to know which frameworks to follow. I always say: eat the meat and spit out the bones. If a business framework doesn't sit right with your spirit, there’s a reason for that. Follow the Light—Jesus—and stay aligned with like-minded believers who carry the Holy Spirit. Ponder Your Path I love Proverbs 4:26, which tells us to "ponder the path of your feet". To ponder means to study, investigate, and visualize where you are going. We need to make straight paths so we don't find ourselves "spinning our wheels" in spaces we were never meant to be. God wants us connected and healed, not dislocated by the wrong choices. Key Scriptures from Today’s Episode: Proverbs 4:10-11: The promise of long life and right paths through wisdom.Proverbs 4:13: Taking a firm hold of instruction.Proverbs 4:18: The path of the just is like a shining light.Proverbs 4:26-27: Pondering your path and removing your foot from evil.Hebrews 12:13: Making straight paths for your feet.Connect with Me: My passion is to help you grow, scale, and expand for the Kingdom of God.
