How To Find Your "Tribe" By Traveling Abroad #communitytravel #purpose #seniors

Do you have the adventurous travel spirit?  What would you think about upscale short-term living somewhere in the world for a month and immursing yourself in the local culture with a group of like-minded travelers?  Andrew Motiwalla of The Good Life Abroad puts together these kinds of experiences and talks about why "community travel" is so attractive. While The Good Life Abroad is a young program, it is part of an larger, existing organization. The Good Life Abroad is simply the latest extension of Andrew’s work in the travel industry. Over a decade ago, Andrew founded Discover Corps, a company specializing in family travel, including multi-generational travel. Discover Corps has an excellent track record and glowing reviews from past travelers. Andrew applies these same standards of excellence to The Good Life Abroad.  Today, The Good Life Abroad shares the same offices as Discover Corps, and continues to uphold the same operating principles that have delighted customers for years. After working with thousands of travelers at Discover Corps, Andrew realized that many older travelers sought a way to slow down their travel, live like a local, and embrace a different rhythm of life. It was this insight that led to the creation of The Good Life Abroad. Andrew has spent the past 30 years designing and delivering transformational experiences across a variety of businesses. Each business has been different, but each one delivered a specific type of experience that had an objective outcome that solves a problem for the client. At times the client has been a mid-career professional seeking direction for their life, or it has been a parent seeking to bond with their family, or a high school student trying to discover their passion.  In all cases, each of these businesses sprang from my direct experience and was driven by both my soul and my mind. It has been a career that has combined passion + purpose. It's a story of entrepreneurial drive fueled by a principled belief in and love for the transformational power travel and curated experiences.  Experience design alone is not sufficient. Over the years I have worked on combining physical experiences with a digital product. The interface between the physical world and a digital product has allowed me to scale complex products and experiences.
