Beyond Stars, But They Made Me...
Been waiting for Burger Beast to finally get this thing done...not like he's been busy with anything else. Few people know more about fast food and comfort food than Burger Beast and he is in the perfect position to interview other knowledgeable culinary notables and misfits. Truth be told, I know Sef personally, so I don't want to come off as a someone who is reviewing this podcast for a friend, pulling any punches. In this case, ther's no punches to pull. If you want to hear food-folk stories from a collection of good and hardworking industry peeps, then you're in the right spot. Insert the buds and sit back for a peak behind the curtain of Miami's colorful food scene. Richard Hales tells it like it is in episode one. He's not hiding the mistakes he made in the early years and is humble about the success he's been met with. He's one of the hardest working guys out there, but you'll also see him out of the kitchen sucking the proverbial marrow out of life. I may not agree with everything he says, but that's what makes the podcast world go 'round. And Burger Beast's genuine belly laugh convinces the listener that he knows all and has seen alll. You may think that his car never leaves the four corners of Westchester, but you would be wrong. There's a ton of knowledge in that there Beast and I look forward to hearing what's to come. Take a bite...you'll like it, and remember a napkin.
