A podcast where we discover, dissect, and demystify forgotten Broadway musicals that we most likely found on vinyl for a dollar! Every episode focuses on one Original Broadway (or West End) Cast Album hosted by the Bevarellis, two actors who are also Broadway fans. We play clips, describe the plot, and insert humor and history!

Ep 12 – Wildcat
A virgin to the Broadway stage, Lucille Ball stars in Wildcat! This unrefined gem was the product of Broadway legends Cy Coleman, Carolyn Leigh, and N. Richard Nash. They struck oil with the hit number "Hey, Look Me Over" but reviews declared the show crude nonetheless. See what all the drilling is about, hear Lucy sing, and stop us from making anymore oil puns in this description!

Written by the team that brought you Finnian’s Rainbow, this 1951 show stars Yma Sumac singing in her signature exotica style as well as a young Barbara Cook among the talented cast!

Ep 8 – Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds (Part 1)
What’s more Halloween than aliens coming to earth!? Before there was Audrey II, HG Wells wrote about Martians in metal tripods killing humans with heat rays! Love this!!
Love the hosts, love the podcast, love the show choices!! I’ve been obsessed with Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds since the 70s, what a delight to hear the 2-parter on this! Requests for future episodes: Cyrano (1973 w Christopher Plummer), Golden Rainbow (Steve & Eydie!), Say Darling, Freudiana, Poe... looking forward to hearing so much more!
Delicious!
A delightfully smart and quirky take on the shows which maybe didn't quite make it but leave a colorful legacy of delightful stories and songs. With humor, warmth and charisma, hosts Jen and Mikey bring you into their boudoir...parlor...pantry...wherever YOU feel most comfortable getting the dish!
