Are you a mom of faith feeling called to step out of the comfort of your life and start a business? Join Bonnie Wiscombe, a certified life coach and Christian mom of 10, for inspiration and encouragement to answer the call to build a business that expands your talents and serves God's children. This is where you'll find the courage to burn a little brighter.

I know what you're thinking: you'd love to have an online business, but you have no idea where to start, or you think you're not good at technology, or you don't have the time or you worry about neglecting your family.

I feel you, my friend, and I want you to know you are not alone. But God has a plan for you and the talents He has given you, and they don't involved hiding behind your minivan forever.

I've been building online businesses from home for over a decade, all while growing and homeschooling a bunch of babies. If I can figure this thing out, so can you! I've learned that in order to become the best mothers we can be, we need to pour MORE into our own cups, not less.

Join me as we learn how to lean into discomfort, how to ask God what He wants us to do and how to accmplish it all without mom guilt or overwhelm.

Whether you're looking for a unique business idea, the best business to start with little money, or just an organized way to serve your community, you're in the right place.

    Combatting Imposter Syndrome

    Combatting Imposter Syndrome

Hey there, fellow Christian moms and entrepreneurs! I'm Bonnie Wiscombe, your host and guide on this journey of building a business and sharing your light with the world. In today's episode, we're tackling a crucial topic that affects almost every one of us at some point: imposter syndrome.
Do you often feel like you're not enough, that you're pretending to be something you're not, or that others will soon discover you're a fraud? You're not alone! Imposter syndrome can be a major obstacle in building a successful business, especially when you're selling your expertise and knowledge.
Here are some key takeaways from our conversation:
Imposter syndrome is not about lacking credentials or education; it's about feeling like you don't belong or aren't good enough.Expertise is simply skill and knowledge, which you already possess as a human being with experiences and talents.Focus on helping others and getting results ahead of time, rather than constantly declaring your expertise. To combat imposter syndrome, start showing people what you know by giving results ahead of time, reading widely, networking with other experts, and continuing to talk to your audience.
Tune in to the full episode to learn more about how to overcome imposter syndrome and unleash your inner expert. Let's face our fears and doubts together, and shine our light with confidence!

How Life Coaching Changed My Life (Plus One Year of Burning Brightly!)

How Life Coaching Changed My Life (Plus One Year of Burning Brightly!)

Welcome to a very special episode of Burning Brightly! This month marks our one-year anniversary of the show, and I’m thrilled to share not only the journey of this podcast but how life coaching has profoundly transformed my life and career.
It's been an incredible year of growth, both for myself and for the show. As some of you may know, I transitioned from co-hosting "Outnumbered the Podcast" to focusing entirely on Burning Brightly and my coaching business. This shift allowed me to delve deeper into the realms of business, faith, and personal development, emphasizing the powerful interplay between them.
Now, I want to take a minute to reflect on how life coaching has reshaped my perspective and approach to various aspects of life:
    - Personal Empowerment: Discovering life coaching podcasts back in 2018 opened my eyes to a new way of viewing my family relationships. I moved from often feeling resentful and frustrated to embracing a stance of empowerment and intentionality.
    - Business and Mindset: Coaching other Christian women on starting their coaching or content businesses has been incredibly rewarding. It's not just about business strategies; it's about understanding and reshaping the narratives we tell ourselves.
    - Overcoming Challenges: Life threw some serious challenges my way, including a traumatic event in 2020. The tools I gained from life coaching proved invaluable, helping me navigate intense grief and ongoing suffering.
    - Health and Wellness: After my last baby, life coaching principles helped me lose over 30 pounds and gain significant strength, altering how I treat and perceive my body.
    - Spiritual Insights: Perhaps one of the most profound aspects of becoming a coach was feeling God’s love for His daughters during coaching sessions. This realization fueled my passion for coaching and affirmed my path forward.
As we celebrate this milestone, I'm reminded of why I started this podcast. It's about community, sharing our lights, and helping each other navigate the highs and lows of life and entrepreneurship.
If you have any thoughts or topics you’d like me to explore in future episodes, please reach out at info@bonniewiscombe.com. Your input is so helpful as we continue this journey together.
Thank you for tuning in, and here’s to another year of learning, growth, and burning brightly!

Learning to Let Go as a High Achiever with Guest Kolette Hall

Learning to Let Go as a High Achiever with Guest Kolette Hall

Today's guest has an incredible story and shares hope, inspiration and some amazing coaching tools. Kolette Hall is a life coach and widowed single mom who helps other high achieving men and women understand how to let go and be at peace with the things we can't (and don't want to) control.
Kolette has a Master’s Degree in Education and spent 5 years teaching before starting her own business in the craft industry. Her husband, Jason, was a quadriplegic in a wheelchair who spent many months in the hospital and needed extra care.
In 2019, Jason passed away and Kolette became a widow and single mom to her teenage son, Coleman. She wrote a book about her experiences and decided to become a coach because she believes in the growth of successful people. When a high-achieving person up-levels their mindset, the impact is exponential. Kolette wants more of that happening in the world.

Here are some key takeaways from today's episode:
