Ep 71: Start With Forgiveness
Forgiveness may sound simple, but it’s not easy. And it requires a tremendous range of self-awareness and deep connection to the heart. Self-forgiveness may be the access point to the peace, joy, fulfillment, creativity, and purpose we are all searching for. Therefore, it may be one of the most powerful practices for humans. Said this way, it doesn’t sound so simple anymore.
Forgive and forget?
Different levels of forgiveness
Awareness of attachment to the past
Head vs. heart
Forgiving self before others
Forgiveness is a process
Expanding awareness around feelings of resentment, shame, and guilt
Curiosity with internal triggers and judgment

Ep 70: Reframing Failure
We typically have a strong aversion to identifying as a failure. Many of us learned to fear failure at an early age because it meant an ocean of disempowering beliefs about ourselves. The word fail is laced with judgment and shame. And this has been passed down for generations. But what if we recreated our relationship to failure? How would our way of being shift? How much more could we grow? In this episode, we discuss nuances surrounding failure.
Disempowering relationship to failure
Failure defined early on including through public education
Failing vs. being a failure
Patience and failure
Reframing relationship to words
Pivoting
Learning to accept paradox as a broader reframe

Ep 69: What Distracts You?
Distractions can help and hurt us. How aware are we of the distractions all around us? Are we making excuses for distractions to validate them? Are we using distractions to avoid commitments? It is important to periodically assess whether our activity and inactivity are in alignment with our commitments and goals.
Distractions from what?
Intention with choice
Habits and distractions
Commitments and your what for?
Judgment of self and others can be a distraction

Ep 68: What’s The Vulnerable Support You Need?
How practiced are you at asking for support? How clear are you about the support you actually need? Many of us are conditioned to be good at giving help and offering it but not at receiving help or asking for it. Offering to give help and asking to receive help are doorways to deeper connection and intimacy. However, an overall imbalance in giving and receiving support can create depletion and stagnation of energy. Further, getting supported on a surface level is entirely different from on a deeper vulnerable level.
Vulnerability in asking for support
Being clear on what you need
Costs of not being supported
From fully supported in the womb to not needing full support afterwards
Shame and support
Expectations and independence
Self-judgment and judgment from others
Saying “Yes” to support
Simply sharing what you’re up to can invite support

Why care about legacy?
Living through personal core values
What’s your agenda?
Transparency with your agenda

It is important to be aware of what drives our work ethic. Is it fear, inspiration, or commitment? Maybe a combination of those or something else? In this episode, we discuss various nuances around work ethic.

Mental (and Spiritual) Nutrition
I notice many individuals wandering around lost these days. One REALLY needs to have a solid foundation with a purpose in life. Especially in this day and age when one can easily be influenced and get sucked into social media, etc. Too many don’t realize the potential of the mind. And how everything is connected. And, unfortunately, not many people are aware and do not realize nor take advantage of their own potential. Tatsu and Jeff provide great mental nutrition and things to think about in an easily digestible format. I can tell they both come from a pure place. Kudos to taking this journey guys. And, I'm along for the ride!
Episode 5
Love the practical tips at the end. Tatsu, you’re on point with giving your money to others without expecting anything in return… it’s the flow that keeps the balance. Jeff, your idea of naming your money is unique. I’m thinking about naming my money after my youngest child. Thank you gentlemen!
Excellent
Congrats on your Podcast!! I am excited to keep hearing you guys! Can’t wait.
