Ep. 3: I Have a Dev Team. None of Them Are Human.

I wake up, pour a cup of coffee, and open my website. There’s something new on it — a recipe I didn’t write, a feature I never asked for, shipped overnight by something that isn’t a person. This episode is about themeasuringcup.com, a recipe site I built by hand twenty years ago and let go dark for ten. It’s back, and I haven’t written a line of the code that’s running on it. Eleven agents do the research, own the backlog, build the pages, and deploy them. In the first nine days on the board, I did exactly one thing. The interesting part isn’t that agents can write code. Everyone has seen that. It’s that the coordination disappeared — the tickets, the handoffs, the standups, the whole apparatus of keeping a product moving. That’s the expensive part in any company, and it’s the part nobody is selling you. It didn’t work the first two times. Here’s what broke, what fixed it, and where it still falls down. Ep. 1: What to Do When Everyone’s Vibe Coding

Everyone's vibe coding. You describe what you want, an AI writes the code, and moments later you're testing it in the browser — no backlog, no sprint, no two-week change window. It feels like magic. But there's a trap nobody warns you about — and the euphoria that makes you feel unstoppable is exactly what keeps you from seeing it. In this episode, Michael unpacks what vibe coding actually is, the failure mode he sees most often, and where it really belongs — especially inside the enterprise. Stick around to the end, where Michael leaves you with three things you can actually do to get better outcomes the next time you sit down to build.
