I just give up, no news here. You stage interviews on the need for energy in the next 2 to 3 years to fuel AI and data farms and then you have an energy expert, who explains that nuclear is the future but we have no nuclear program so we should just spend more money on solar. There was no conversation about the cost of these energies or how solar will provide the needed electricity for data farms at night. Your story had no value if you want to provide information from an economics and market perspective someone on your program has to talk about dollars. What is the cost of energy per kilowatt hour. Hydro, nuclear and coal are the cheapest followed by natural gas, and you guessed it the most expensive and least reliable are solar and wind. This IS the story. You need to find experts and be capable of asking smart questions. 1 star and many tears.

I enjoy the rich blend of current ideas shared in Marketplace. It’s especially great to hear the informed perspective that goes beyond the dry facts.

Interesting but useless if you’re not wealthy enough to pay for subscriptions to NY Times, Washington Post, etc. to get the full story … Still appreciate it greatly. Now wondering why it’s the only podcast that won’t play. Update re: Kimberley Adams cat, drinks friday
