    Episode 168 | Rooted: A Cultivated Destiny

Rooted: How Faith Grows and Life Changes | Week 12: Destiny Where is your life headed? Most people think destiny is something they discover one day. The Bible tells a different story. Destiny is cultivated through the daily choices we make, the thoughts we think, and the habits we practice over time. In this final episode of Rooted, Dan Holland brings the entire series together by showing how healthy roots ultimately lead to a life of purpose, stability, and lasting impact. Psalm 1 and Jeremiah 17 remind us that two people can begin in the same place but arrive at very different destinations—not because of one dramatic decision, but because of the direction of their lives. Throughout this twelve-part journey we've discovered that thoughts become actions, actions become habits, habits shape character, character produces fruit, and fruit ultimately shapes our destiny. The encouraging news is that God can change the direction of any life by transforming it from the roots up. If you've followed the entire Rooted series, this episode will challenge you to intentionally plant today what you hope to harvest tomorrow. Episode 162 | Rooted: The Hinge Point of Surrender

We all want transformation—but most of us still want control. In Week 06 of Rooted, we arrive at the hinge point of the series: Surrender. For the first six weeks we've been working beneath the surface—our roots, identity, mind, truth, and faith. Now we discover that real spiritual growth happens when we stop trying to control our lives and begin abiding in Christ. Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches." Branches don't struggle to produce fruit. They simply stay connected to the source of life. That's the invitation of John 15—not to try harder, but to abide deeper. We'll explore what it means to remain in Christ, why surrender is an act of trust rather than weakness, how God lovingly prunes our lives for greater fruitfulness, and why the deepest transformation doesn't come from striving—it comes from staying connected to Jesus. Because healthy fruit is never manufactured. It grows naturally from healthy roots connected to the True Vine. Transformation is not behavior management. It is life from the roots up. Episode 161 | Rooted: Mustard Seed Faith

Most people want mountain-moving faith, but very few are willing to live mustard-seed lives. In Week 05 of Rooted, we discover that biblical faith isn't about having bigger emotions or greater certainty—it's about placing even small faith in a faithful God. Jesus compared faith to a mustard seed because real transformation often begins quietly, beneath the surface, long before anyone sees the fruit. We'll explore why God often develops our faith in seasons of uncertainty, what the Israelites learned at the Red Sea, and why familiar bondage can sometimes feel safer than unfamiliar freedom. We'll also discover that healthy faith is built one small act of trust at a time. If you've ever wondered why God seems to work slowly, why He allows wilderness seasons, or how your faith can grow stronger, this message is for you. Because transformation is not behavior management. It is life from the roots up.
