The Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast is a twice-weekly show hosted by Donna Choate and Cadillac Jack. Caddy was a morning show host on Atlanta radio for nearly three decades. His wife Donna has been on the advertising side of business for just as long.
In his second act, Caddy is joined by Donna on the air to bring listeners informative and entertaining conversations about current events, parenting and country music. You’ll hear a unique discussion on trending news topics, see behind the scenes of the music industry and relate to their personal stories from the home front.

Crank it up and rip the knob off, podcasts live forever.
PT gets his official introduction to the show and it starts a little bumpy. We’re digging into some of his failures, including not bringing enough “energy” to the My Second Act Podcast. Don’t worry, it picks up.
We’ve got more on Kanye West but really it just raises more questions than it answers. It keeps getting weirder. Caddy and Donna dig into Simone Biles taking a step back from the Olympics and discuss mental health struggles in general. Then in our obligatory music news Kelly Clarkson is losing a tough legal battle and Taylor Swift is trying to not have so many awards thrown at her. We’ve got a double serving of Eric Church this week, who Caddy claims is one of the best songwriters working today. Have thoughts? Let him know. 7704646024.
I want to live in blissful ignorance.
All aboard the new health craze, deworming. The less you know the better. And Kanye West’s new Atlanta home is super convenient for sporting events. Not sure if he’s taking visitors yet.
Donna shows off her pipes this episode with “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.” Next time we’ll try out the auto-tune and see how it sounds. We’re recapping an eventful weekend for our hosts, a weekend that almost included a pretty tense bar fight. Then we dig deep into the stranger Caddy and Donna met. Is he a hero or a villain? The jury is still out. And finally Caddy breaks down the situation surrounding Morgan Wallen, and his disappointing performance on GMA. What’s the Olympic sport in your life? Let us know. 7704646024.
We're evicting Jeff Bezos from Earth.
Three women walked into a bus, and it wasn’t a setup for a joke. Oh the things people can do to scorn a common enemy. Find out more on this week's My Second Act Podcast.
165,000 people wanted Jeff Bezos to stay in space, and that number may be too low. Preston makes his debut on the show to talk about how bad the new Space Jam movie was and offers suggestions for what to see instead. And in this week's episode, Caddy and Donna dig into the challenges surrounding addiction. Caddy’s been there and he wants you to know that you are not alone. If you’d like to reach him directly, text 7704646024.
You're narcissistic and a little bit selfish.
We’ve got a very special guest on the My Second Act podcast this week. Someone who’s come to set free an innocent husband.
Donna’s back, and she’s setting the record straight while getting a few potshots at Caddy in the process. Then we’re gonna quickly run through the best places to live according to the internet. You won’t guess what Caddy wants to do in Boulder, it shocked the whole studio. Caddy’s Facebook interests are pretty tough to pin down, everything from architecture to javelin. And then we close with an interview we all needed. You may remember the story of Kista Frank, the Brookhaven woman who’s sleep was rudely interrupted by a wild animal. We’ve got her on the line to run through the details. What are your thoughts on Nala the Serval Cat? We want to know. 7704646024.
Donna's out, Tug is in. We're busting out the podcast Regis.
Donna and Caddy are having some trouble at home, don’t ask. So filling in for Donna this week on the My Second Act podcast is radio host and sports fan Tug Cowart.
Tug is welcomed in with stories of Caddy’s wild radio stunts way back when, and yes Caddy was under the influence for most of it. Then we learn how to spread some love and get some more friends. Speaking of good friends, the Carters got one of the best presents imaginable from one of music's best couples. Gift givers at home, take note. And finally, what’s the best music streaming service if you’re an artist whose music is being played? Spoiler: you’re wrong. We’ve got lots of pod peeps this week. Want to get in touch? Give us a call. 7704646024.
Willy Wonka goes to space, Donna's got next.
We’re starting the week off right with some very strange moaning from Caddy. It could have to do with the idea of him going to space, or some psychedelic toads, or both.
Donna is starting the GoFundMe to go to space as soon as possible. Caddy isn’t as warm to the idea, especially after seeing the simple machinery of the Magic Carpet Ride fail it’s customers. Let the sound take you away. Despite the rides holding up at Six Flags, it was a rough day for Donna. She’s clearly in need of what the kids are calling “ego death.” We discuss. And then finally we close with marriage advice from one of Georgia’s favorite couples. Are you on the next flight to space? Let us know. 7704646024.
My favorite podcast!
Caddy & Donna make Tuesday & Thursday my favorite day of the week. I love how open they are, how real the talk is and always get good laughs!
I was happy to finally meet them in person and let me tell you they are equally as amazing in person!!
Found a Long Lost Friend
I happened to Google Cadillac Jack this morning after my husband and I wondered last night at dinner what he was doing these days. Much to my delight, I discovered he was doing a podcast. I’m five episodes in already and I love it! I feel like I’ve found a long lost friend with the added bonus of his wife Donna. Growing up in Alpharetta and now residing in Cumming, I love hearing them talk about local places and also love hearing all the “behind the scenes” stories of the music and radio industry. So happy to hear your voice again Caddy!
So happy to find this podcast!
I grew up listening to Caddy on Atlanta radio. I have always found him so relatable because we share some of the same views, interests and opinions. I was so upset when he was abruptly removed from my local country station that I stopped listening. A few weeks ago my husband told me about this podcast and I am so glad he did. I can’t wait to tune in every Tuesday and Thursday for the new episodes. Cadillac Jack and his wife Donna are very entertaining. There are many LOL moments while I’m listening.
