    We Won. Nothing Changes

    It took 118 days but Spurs finally went and did it, they won a game. The CADS went to extreme lengths to attend this one, taking time out of their holidays, getting out of hospital, that's the kind of commitment that sets Spurs fans apart. We talk about the win, about how our fixture schedule is all kinds of shaky, how we have more injured players than wins this season and compliment Antonin Kinsky on his mental strength. Are we fully coherent? Not all the time. Are we fully committed? Hell yeah.

    Spurs Chaos

    The chaos at Spurs continues and that carries over into this CADS podcast. A really wanted to chat and get some things off his chest but our recording time wasn't kind to him so we jumped on and had a chat before the main pod started. Then, the main pod kicked off and we had a lively debate about the players, the way that the date of the game effects our perception of the result, the mental resiliance of a number of our players and how certain Spurs fan can GTFO. Everyone disagrees but it stays friendly. Enjoy.

    This one has the feel of two Spurs fans sitting in the wreckage, having moved past fury and into that strange, grimly funny stage of acceptance. Stuart and Ash talk through the possibility of life in the Championship, what a genuine club reset might involve, and whether the pain might finally force the changes Tottenham have avoided for years. There’s still room for lineup chat, transfer frustration, Xavi Simmons love, and scepticism over Roberto De Zerbi — but the mood here is less meltdown, more gallows humour with a side of reluctant peace.

With Igor Tudor gone, the club hunting for yet another manager, and relegation fear getting louder, Stuart, Austen, A and David gather for a mix of gallows humour, annoyance and reluctant realism.
