I first listened to Caffeinated Conquests when they ran the 5th Edition Alpha playtest Rusted Veins and I really enjoyed that and their actual plays of the one-page chronicle things. Then I took a stab at the Wraith episodes and I’m hooked. I tried to watch one live but Twitch hates me so having it on podcast format was a boon. My only issue with the VtM content was hearing all the players and having the whole crew on separate mics for this helps that a lot.
Chaz is an excellent storyteller, trying new things while also trying to be respectful of his players and the people he’s portraying. He doesn’t always hit the mark but it doesn’t matter his enthusiasm shines through. When the players interact with other Wraiths it feels like there are other characters in the room with Chaz at times. Spooky.
The players craft engaging character histories that make me want to learn more about them. Solid 5/5 WoD actual play.
