Haunting narration, disturbing subject matter, eerie atmosphere. Fear lives, breathes and grows stronger with each word uttered throughout these tales. California Gothic IS the stuff of nightmares, and an absolute must hear for the truly twisted horror fan.
Greatest horror podcast of all time
This has gotta be one of the better spooky podcasts that features short stories sent in from aspiring horror writers. Any show that features new voices and not just the same novelists we’ve had for the past decade has got to be doing something right.
They also feature history lessons in horror and some original music from various sources, many of which are creepy in nature.
I would compare the show to The Twilight Zone (the original seasons) or creepshow.
