Great interviews about many topics that have been skewed, covered up, or ignored by msm, focusing on California. Thank you, Siyamak Khorrami, for this excellent, informative podcast.

I’ve valued this podcast for its informative and balanced approach, but the most recent episode featuring Susan Shelley was disheartening. Her characterization of California’s government struck me as not only excessively cynical but also lacking in nuance. The broad generalizations she presented, such as: “It’s restricting housing and it’s restricting transportation and it’s restricting development and job-creating businesses can’t operate here. Everybody’s regulated to death and they’re leaving the state. And the jobs are leaving and that creates a new kind of affordability problem because there’s two sides to affordability.” reduce complex policy challenges to alarmist rhetoric rather than fostering meaningful discussion. At that point, I felt there was little value in continuing to listen.

Its hard to find long form dialogue on California issues. It’s been nice to get different perspectives from people who have been involved on these different topics. Thank you California Insider 🙌 keep it up 👍
