The Gates of Hell Pt. V - Hell and Workers' Compensation

The Gates of Hell Pt. V - Hell and Workers' Compensation

We have arrived at the conclusion of our series on Dante's poem Inferno and Rodin's sculpture The Gates of Hell where we finally explore the topic of how this relates to workers' compensation. Dr. John Alchemy and Cory Oleson explore the metaphor between the injured worker's experience through a claim that is dragging on, and Dante's experience going through hell. It's not all fire and brimstone, however. There could be a light at the end of the tunnel. To find out how, give this episode a listen! When Zero Means More than Nothing

Expanding on the idea of 0% WPI in workers' comp claims from previous episodes, Dr. John Alchemy takes this opportunity to elaborate that 0% WPI doesn't necessarily mean that everything about the injury is 'in the clear'. In this penultimate episode of our series, we travel with Historian of Italian art and owner of Tuscan Tour Guide,  Paul Costa, into the early 20th century to meet Auguste Rodin. We learn about how Rodin interpreted Dante's vision to sculpt his depiction of the Gates of Hell as described by Dante Alighieri. The Gates of Hell Pt. III - We Have Arrived

Part III of our podcast on Dante's Inferno, and Rodin's Gates of Hell. Keep your arms, legs, and bifurcated tails in the vehicle at all times. We are going down. Historian of Italian art and owner of Tuscan Tour Guide,  Paul Costa, brings us along the path that Dante and his guide Virgil took on their trip through hell. But why Dante? And Rodin, the guy who made The Thinker? What does this have to do with workers' compensation? We will arrive at the answer at the end of our series. To get there, we must go through Inferno itself.  For more information on this episode, and other helpful tips about workers' compensation, visit the RateFast Blog. Great info! About time! John A knows what he is talking about.

It’s hard to find good information on Work Comp and I have 5 years of experience in this field. I have been a patient and worked within the field myself. Unless you have a good WC attorney (hard to find) you really are in a land of unknowns. It’s easy to just listen to your adjuster and insurance ,which typically are not on your side. Even doctors seem to be very clueless in this field. Glad to see that RateFast is so innovative in what they do!
