After transferring to URI, Colbert’s stats continued to increase, which landed him on a lot of NFL team’s radars before graduating in 2024. Once his name wasn’t called on draft night, it was only moments later where the Miami Dolphins gave him a call to sign him as a free agent.     Fredrick Mallay is a Mt. Pleasant Rhode Island native who has taken football in the smallest state in the country by storm ever since his freshman year of high school. Mallay holds the Rhode Island high school record for most yards rushed in a single game recording 521 yards on the ground versus Lincoln High School his senior year. However, ever since he was twelve years old, Mallay knew his future was in sports. Growing up in a single parent household, he wanted to give more to his mother and family with a career in football. Deciding to stay home and attend the University of Rhode Island was a no brainer for Mallay. He is currently a part of the first Rhode Island Football team to receive a playoff bid since 1985 and is gearing up for a jam packed post season.     Noah Eagle has a multitude of different sports he calls throughout the seasons. You may have heard him on the call for the Brooklyn Nets, you may have seen him in the booth for the NLF, or you may have even seen him calling the 2024 5v5 Men’s Basketball Olympic Games alongside NBA Hall of Fame, Dwyane Wade. Eagle was in the graduating class of 2019 at Syracuse University. Having a dad like long time NBA broadcaster Ian Eagle, Noah knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. After graduating and getting his first opportunity as the radio voice for the LA Clippers, the rest of Noah’s journey is history. Originally falling in love with sports from playing football and baseball, Kevin knew heading into school he wanted to have a profession in sports. Kevin would go on to graduate from the University of Rhode Island and eventually go on to work his first full time position Duluth, Minnesota as a sports reporter and anchor for Northern News Now.     Adam Lewis is a recent graduate of Syracuse University and undoubtedly made the most out of the opportunities given to him at a young age. Growing up a huge sports fan, Adam knew early on he wanted to be someone who was created these ‘once in a lifetime’ moments he would watch on TV. For instance, growing up a New England sports fan, Adam was exposed to multiple championships throughout all the major sports. He wanted to be the person capturing and creating these types of moments. During his tenure at Syracuse, he co-hosted and produced the Cole Swider show with Indiana Pacers guard Cole Swider and former Cuse guard Paddy Casey.     Nick Conte is a North Providence, Rhode Island native and was considered one of the best pitchers in the state towards the end of his high school career. Conte was a staple to Rhode Island pitchers. So much so that he considered entering the MLB draft after graduating in 2020. However, COVID-19 had other plans. With the Coronavirus taking over the world, Conte decided to take his talents to the college level. He decided on Duke University and played there for three seasons. Having a stand out season the summer before the 2024 MLB Draft, Conte was selected in the 8th round to the Kansas City Royals and is just getting started in his professional career.     Kevin Ryans is a Queens, New York native who developed a passion for sportscasting entering elementary school. Being in the New York area, his favorite teams to watch were the New York Knicks, and more specifically, the New York Yankees. A Syracuse alum from the class of 2017, the job hunt was difficult for a young Kevin Ryans, as it is for all college graduates entering the sports industry. Luckily, Ryans got his foot in the door with SNY as a Production Assistant post graduation. After only spending about 8 months there, he received an opportunity to start his on air career in Joplin, Missouri as a Sports Reporter and Anchor at KSN/KODE. Ever since then, he has stayed in Missouri to continue his sports career. His current position is a Sports Reporter and Anchor at FOX2 in St. Louis.
