  1. The Life of Garnet Harper: A Father, Son and Brother who Died after Being Denied a Life-Saving Transplant Based on His Vaccination Status

The Life of Garnet Harper: A Father, Son and Brother who Died after Being Denied a Life-Saving Transplant Based on His Vaccination Status

The response of the public medical care system to Covid-19 was abysmal. Baseless knee-jerk reactions became standard, untested, and unscientific policies were commonplace, and so-called ‘healthcare’ authorities spent time copying the strategies of neighboring provinces instead of bothering to ask if the practices they were implementing made any sense at all. Many rightfully bemoaned the trampling of charter rights that occurred over that time, but perhaps the most egregious and visceral examples of callous injustice were carried out by doctors, nurses and ‘chief medical officers’, too many of whom were all too happy to follow orders instead of asking questions. Nurses took time to film choreographed TikTok dances while a room over grandma was dying alone in isolation, people were forced to share a final hug through grotesque shower curtain contraptions, people suffered in isolation and said their farewells through windows instead of face to face, and worst of all, some people were quite literally refused lifesaving transplants based solely, and void of any sound demonstrable rationality, on their vaccination status, in what can only be described as an unconscionable affront against basic human dignity. There has been an effort to move on, to let bygones be bygones, to just forget about Covid (and to avoid legal accountability for some of the things that happened during Covid) but for families who lost loved ones forgetting isn’t quite so easy, and I for one plan to keep telling their stories until accountability and justice are restored. To share one such story, Adam was honored to be joined by DeVaughn Harper, whose brother Garnet Harper died after being denied a transplant based on his vaccination status, to keep his memory right where it should be, in the hearts and minds of far more concerned Canadians right across this nation.

  2. An Injection of Truth with Darrell Komick

An Injection of Truth with Darrell Komick

During Covid-19 Canada’s elected officials made about as strong a case for the need to limit the size and scope of government as most of us are likely to live through. Whether it be federal, provincial, or municipal, the responses of the people elected to represent and preserve our freedoms were ham-fisted, draconic, unreasoned and unconstitutional. We can’t just blame the politicians however, because countless Canadians, the nation’s courts, the media and just about anyone else who should have opposed the government’s overstepping, instead cheered them on. Concerned citizens with good questions were called anti-science and anti-vax, people were denied lifesaving medical care, Canadians were refused entry to restaurants based on what should have been private medical information, and some even called for the unvaccinated to be rounded up, jailed, or worse. Most upsetting of all, there never really was good evidence for the arbitrary charter trampling protocols brought forth (for more on that go watch my interview with Dr. Gary Davidson). When the truth about Covid and vaccines began to come to light, even in official government documents and the drug manufacturers’ own literature, many Canadians buried their heads in the sand (if you are wondering who they are, most of them will have tweeted #elbowsup a few months back). Now folks, including politicians, police officers, judges and medical professionals, just want to move on. They want to skip the accountability step. They don’t want to look the people suffering vaccine injuries, or those who were treated as second class citizens in the eye and acknowledge their mistakes. To discuss the need for truth and justice prior to reconciliation for the errors committed during Covid-19 and the incredibly successful “An Injection of Truth” events, Adam was joined by the president of the Calgary-Lougheed United Conservative Party Constituency Association, Darrell Komick.

  3. Dr. Kelli Palfy on Male Sexual Abuse

Dr. Kelli Palfy on Male Sexual Abuse

Please be advised that this interview explores sensitive subject matters, including sexual abuse, which may not be appropriate for all audiences. The #MeToo movement cast a great deal of light on the problem of sexual abuse in society, particularly drawing attention to the actions of serial abusers like Harvey Weinstein. While some unfortunately attempted to politicize the movement, there is no denying that many women who suffered abuse were empowered, and at least some abusers were held accountable as a result. While awareness and empowerment for abuse survivors is certainly on the rise, support for male victims of sexual abuse has undeniably lagged. Despite many bravely sharing their stories, like our own Theo Fleury, there are still undeniable stigmas that often leaves male survivors of sexual abuse feeling isolated and left to struggle with mental health issues, substance abuse and even self-harm in silence. It is critical to confront the trauma of male sexual abuse head-on and let our brothers who have suffered know that they are not alone and that they need not be ashamed. If you were the victim of abuse and you have not shared your story, do not suffer alone. Help is available, you deserve justice and support. You will learn more about the types of support available in this interview. Dr. Kelli Palfy, a former RCMP officer who specialized in investigating sex crimes against children, has since obtained her PhD in Counseling Psychology and is now working as a trained trauma therapist. She is also the author of MenToo: The Unspoken Truth About Male Sexual Abuse, and she joined Adam to shed light on this difficult and important subject.
