    Happy Monday y'all! Im happy to bring you a new episode of Candidly, Caitlyn! I am so excited to continue my "Political Determinants of Health" series here on my podcast & for this episode with Carmen de la Rosa.  She is the Council Member-Elect for District 10 in NYC. She grew up here in NYC after immigrating from The Dominican Republic as a baby and currently serves as the NYS Assemblywoman for the 72nd district. We spoke about her background and reasons for going into politics, politician mistrust, co-governance, the pandemic & more! While this episode was just an introduction to Carmen, her background & campaign goals, I look forward to having her on my podcast again in the future to talk more in depth about the issues faced in this country & in NYC specifically.
