CareCast: When Religious Leaders and Satanists Agree on Abortion, Something’s Amiss
If someone handed you a seed and you planted it. Then, after some time goes by, the seed grows into a beautiful plant. Would you say, “I created that plant?” No, you stewarded something that was given to you. But God created it. He created the seed and the plant. God is the source of life and we, his creation, are the resource. We aren't “co-creators” with God.
This is vital language we can't miss when speaking about life and abortion. It's what Roland Warren, Care Net's President and CEO, and Vincent DiCaro, Care Net's Chief Outreach Officer, discuss in the newest episode of Carecast, Care Net's podcast on family, faith, and life. Listen in on what Roland and Vince have for us this week on Carecast. Or find the post at https://www.care-net.org/abundant-life-blog/carecast-religious-leaders-and-satanists-agree-on-abortion
I loved the clarity these 2 gentlemen brought to this situation. This isn’t the first time in history people of God have stood for His inerrant truth. God said He knew us in our mothers’ wombs. God said it. I believe it. It’s all that faith demands. John 10:10 says it all. “The thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill, and destroy; I (Jesus) am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Pregnancy is too nuanced to legislate.
Wow two men who will never face the medical trauma of carrying a pregnancy or childbirth giving their ignorant opinions. Whenever I listen to anti choice people it strengthens my pro choice views. I really try to see the other side not the podcast isn’t doing it. Pregnancy is too nuanced to legislate.
Love the podcast!
