In this episode we take a chance to meet with Valerie Schweigert, the new Associate Director at the UW Q Center to hear all about their experiences working within a space dedicated to the advocacy and uplifting of LGBTQ+ identities, with a heavy focus on people of color in its mission. Tune in to learn what it's like to be in both an academic, activist, and community organizing space. 

In this episode, we get some great insight from one of my close teammates and friends Eli Heller. We learn about what it was like as an academic advisor at Bellevue College, attending Seattle University for Graduate Studies, coaching Pre Health students, and the importance of identity in the workplace. 

In this episode, we will be getting the chance to hear from Gillian Duenas, who is a new alum and current student in the school of social work. We get to hear about what it was like being a part of the student campus, as well as what experiences really helped shaped some decisions.
