Lori's son was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) a year ago at the age of 13. Looking back, they contended with symptoms of it his entire life. Challenges with keeping food down as a baby, not wanting to eat as a toddler, and weight gain concerns were prevalent in his younger years. While the EoE diagnosis finally gave a name to their experiences, it was the beginning of their journey. Through a roller coaster of food eliminations, endoscopies, Neocate, and confusing allergy test results, they continue to navigate the world of EoE and the added complications it poses for a 14-year-old. Lori's devotion to her son and commitment to helping him find ways to take the lead in his care are inspiring! Helpful Resource for EoE!

I just found this podcast and I can’t express how much I appreciate the sense of community it has brought me already. As someone who has been recently diagnosed with EoE as an adult, I often feel very much alone in my struggles through figuring this all out and sifting through all the resources out there. This is an excellent, caring, and comprehensive platform for those in the EoE community to help learn about the disease and advocate for those suffering from it. Thank you for sharing your story!!
