    We Need FRIENDS... So Let's Be FRIENDS!

    SUCCESS, CONQUERING & MIRACLE ANSWERS TO PRAYER Doing life together with friends in a group will bring me success Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 (NLT) - Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) - As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Romans 1:12 (NCV) - I want us to help each other with the faith we have. Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you. In a small group we can stand back-to-back and conquer Ecclesiastes 4:10–12 (NLT) - If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Proverbs 16:18 (NLT) - Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall. Philippians 2:3 (TPT) - Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Proverbs 18:1 (NKJV) - A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. 1 Peter 5:5 (NLT) - And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Hebrews 10:25 (TPT) - This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward… Romans 14:19 (TPT) - So then, make it your top priority …eagerly seeking to strengthen and encourage one another. Praying in agreement with a small group will bring miracle answers from God Matthew 18:19–20 (NLT) - If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Ephesians 6:18 (Message) - Pray for your brothers and sisters…Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. James 5:16 (Message) - Make this your common practice…pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed… Psalm 68:6 (GW) - God places lonely people in families…but rebellious people must live in an unproductive land. Rebellious – to be stubborn and not willing to change Hebrews 10:25 Easy - Some people have stopped meeting with the group of Christians. But that is not good. We should all continue to meet together. We need to help one another to be strong and brave.

    You're BETTER when we are TOGETHER

    TOGETHER WE SUCCEED Christianity is all about groups…relationships…community…….doing life together Acts 2:46 (CEV) - they met together in the temple. They broke bread together in different homes … Together in the Church & together in different homes Acts 2:42 (Message) - They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. “The teaching” - Bible Study. “The life together” - Friendship; fellowship; accountability; care; love; encouragement “The meal” - Eating together. “The prayers” - Praying together. Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NLT) - Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Ecclesiastes 4:10 (NLT) - If one person falls, the other can reach out and help...     Stop Waiting. Your Faith is Ready to Move!

    Faith Makes a Move Faith isn’t fruitful until you make a move. Passages Romans 12:2 (NIV) – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 10:9–10 (NIV) – “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” James 2:17 (NIV) – “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Matthew 14:22–33 (NIV) – Full passage with verse numbers. Psalm 23:4 (NIV) – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Matthew 14:22–33 (NIV) 22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. 25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” 32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Points for Slides Faith in the Mind → Fueled by God thoughts (Romans 12:2) Faith in the Mouth → “Faith is voice-activated” (Romans 10:9–10) Faith in the Movement → Faith isn’t fruitful until you make a move Verse James 2:17 (NIV) – “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Point 1 – God Has a Destination for You Matthew 14:22 – “Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side.” Point 2 – Storms Will Come Matthew 14:24 – “But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.” Matthew 14:27 – “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Point 3 – A Little Faith Is Enough Matthew 14:28 – “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” Matthew 14:29 – “Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.” Faith moves on the command, not the conditions. James 2:17 – “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Point 4 – Faith in the Storm Is Greater Than Faith After the Storm Matthew 14:33 – “Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’” Psalm 23:4 (NIV) – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

    Speak It Into Existence! Your Faith Has Power

    Job 22:28 AMP - You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways. Mark 11:22–23 (NKJV) - So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Hebrews 11:3 CEB - By faith we understand that the universe has been created by a word from God  JESUS TEACHING US……...FAITH IS AN UNDENIABLE SPIRITUAL LAW…when its embraced it produces predictable results 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV) - And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak WORDS WE SPEAK ON DAILY BASIS…HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) - Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21 (MSG) - Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. 1 Peter 3:10 (NLB) - If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, Matthew 12:36–37 (MSG) - Let me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. 37 Words can be your salvation (set free). Words can also be your damnation (put in bondage).” Proverbs 30:32 (TPT) - if you’ve thought about saying something stupid, you’d better shut your mouth. (put your hand on your mouth) Job 40:4–5 (NLT) - I will cover my mouth with my hand. 5 I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say. Proverbs 13:3 (NCV) - Those who are careful about what they say protect their lives, but whoever speaks without thinking will be ruined. Proverbs 21:23 (NKJV) - Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles. Psalm 39:1 (TPT) - Here’s my life motto, the truth I live by…I will speak only what is right, guarding what I speak. Like a watchman guards against an attack of the enemy, I’ll guard and muzzle my mouth… Galatians‬ “A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.” BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY, YOU’RE SPEAKING TO YOUR FUTURE. Jeremiah 1:4–9 (TNIV) - The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” 6 “Ah, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” 7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ …. 9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth.” James 3:4–5 (NIV) - Take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5 Likewise, the tongue EVEN WHEN IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE…..DECIDE TO SAY WHAT GOD SAYS Luke 5:3–6 (NKJV) - Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. 4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. Speak Healing Scriptures Exodus 15:26 (NLT) - I am the Lord who heals you. 1 Peter 2:24 (TNIV) - “by his wounds you have been healed.” Psalms‬ Jeremiah‬ Romans‬ Jeremiah 1:12 - I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. Luke 1:37 (TPT)- Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!

    Your Thoughts Can Heal You – Here's How!

    PURPOSE, PROSPERITY & HEALING…THROUGH RIGHT THINKING Psalms‬ Psalm 100:5 (NKJV) - For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. 1 Peter 2:24 (TNIV) - “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” If you don’t know what GOD promised in His Word…will not experience these promises Proverbs 4:23 GNT - Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts Two basic influences that shape our thinking…WORD OR WORLD Genesis 3:1 (NLT) - “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” Proverbs 4:23 GNT - Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts Father - "You're my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased." … Matthew 4:2–4 (NLT) - For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. 3 During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Proverbs 4:23 GNT - Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts Choose to shape your thinking by the Word of God Romans 12:2 (NLT) - Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think (renewing of the mind). Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Mark 12:24 (MSG) - Jesus said, “You’re way off base, and here’s why: One, you don’t know your Bibles; two, you don’t know how God works. Isaiah 5:13 (NKJV) - My people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge… John 8:30–32 (NKJV) - As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Abide – to remain…to stay/wait and expect something in the future Know - To understand…be familiar with… intimate relationship Renewing our Mind with the Word of God …will release God’s healing power Mark 5:27–28, 34 (NLT) - She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28 For she thought (kept thinking) to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.” Before she heard about Jesus…sickness, pain, alienated from people, lonely, no more money…dominated her thoughts After she heard about Jesus…decided to keep thinking… “I heard he heals everyone…if I touch his garment, I will be healed We have to Change our Meditation….from thinking about the pain, symptoms, limitations, medical report…Instead…Meditate (keep thinking) on healing scriptures Proverbs 4:20–22 (TPT) - Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. 21 Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. 22 Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.
