Great storytelling and worldbuilding!
The world is well thought-out from the beginning, and the story drew me in more and more each episode. When the characters uncover a mystery about halfway into the season, I was fully hooked and never looked back! And it only gets better from there with each new twist. Also have to say that the handful of single character episodes were genius and added a fantastic new element to the storytelling. The NPCs are voiced in creative and unique ways and definitely help the world come alive. The two DM structure works well, and the players are clearly having a lot of fun. Many times I caught myself grinning while listening…what more can you ask for??
Where is the other guy
What happened to the other guy who had all the good voices? He was the best part and it’s not as enjoyable to listen to without him.
Welcome to the Carriage Rest Tales
I am very new to both Podcasts and dungeon and dragons. My kids have encouraged me to give it a listen and see what I thought
As I began listening I started to enjoy the characters and what each of them brought to the story line. My favorite character is Woods but I love the voice of Benson.
I can only imagine how much fun they are having making the podcast. They seem to play off each other very well
