    Intro to Lanterns

    Yes, this show is about members of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic peacekeeping force whose members wear rings that give them powers (and we love that). But there’s a lot more about this series that has us intrigued. Like, why is it also apparently a gritty murder mystery set in rural Nebraska? And what does it mean that HBO, the king of prestige TV, picked it up, with three legendary writers at the helm: Chris Mundy (Ozark), Damon Lindelof (LOST), and Tom King (The Vision)? That’s more than enough to have us—Jason, Kirk, and Jim—super excited for Lanterns.
