The podcast follows four adventurers who stumble their way into trouble and hopefully glory. Each episode is edited down to just the story so it sounds more like a radio play than a bunch of table talk about stats and dice rolls, but the ludicrous unpredictable results of unexpected dice-rolls remains. In other words, we are a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition actual-play podcast with Toronto improvisers and a lot of editing.

Break A Wish is a podcast where all your dreams come true but with terrible ironic consequences. On each episode, host Maddox Campbell sits down with two guests and one magic wish. The panel breaks down the wish from every angle while trying to come up with the perfect ironic cost. Our goal is a come up with a cost that will make it a gut wrenchingly difficult choice whether you would accept this wish knowing its cost. Then we ask our panelists and our audience if they would.

One of the best D&D podcasts available
Funny, entertaining and high quality sound recording. There are no die rolls, or rules discussions in this podcast, as they are all edited out. What’s left is the story, humor and entertaining characters. I listen to a lot of actual play podcasts and this is one of the best.
Great cast!
All of the players have strong characters! The show also has MUCH higher quality audio then most DnD pods; usually it’s just people yelling into one mic in the middle, this one sounds great! Keep up the entertaining work!
A real story
Wow you guys do great. You must spend a lot of time editing. Really enjoyed this. Will be sharing with alot of friends.
