This podcast looks to discuss sports, but from a different aspect. Rather than talking about what goes on during the game itself, Central Time looks to delve into the environment, cultures and atmospheres surrounding sporting events around the world. Whether it be soccer in London or hockey in Chicago, we hope to provide a perspective on what sports mean to our communities — while also adding some humor, hopefully.

Zak Keefer of The Athletic joins to discuss how race has become a conversation in the NFL — more specifically with the 2017 Colin Kaepernick protests.

The culture surrounding the race has led to the it being tagged "The World's Greatest College Weekend." Galen Clavio, Jess Hamilton, Ann Marie Matheny, Mary Kate Hamilton and Josh Eastern all joined to give their various perspectives on the race.

Stefan gives a look into the mood throughout Chicago thanks to the winning and energy provided by a resurgent Blackhawks organization.
