    CEOs Enlightenment Ep 19: Silent Sovereignty with "Mohamed Horani"

    Et si votre plus grande réussite du mois vous éloignait de là où vous voulez vraiment aller ? Mohamed Horani m'a offert une heure et demie de son temps pour répondre à cette question. Recevoir cet homme sur CEOs Enlightenment restera un des grands moments de cette aventure. Pas seulement parce qu'il dirige HPS depuis 31 ans. Mais parce qu'il m'a laissée voir l'homme derrière l'entreprise. Un enfant de 7 ans qui prend déjà de la hauteur face à une décision familiale bouleversante. Un directeur général qui démissionne sur une feuille blanche le jour où l'on cherche à le contourner. Un fondateur qui construit une gouvernance sans hiérarchie, où le patron d'un projet peut être le chauffeur qui tient le volant. De cette trajectoire, il tire une notion qu'il n'a jamais pu traduire exactement : Al-Falah. Le succès se mesure à un objectif atteint ou raté. Al-Falah se mesure à une direction tenue, même quand un objectif échoue en chemin. Ce que je retiens surtout : la valeur qu'il porte n'est jamais dans les chiffres qu'il cite, mais dans ce qu'il en fait. La solidarité poussée jusqu'à effacer gratuitement l'erreur d'un client. L'humilité posée comme première qualité d'un leader. La confiance donnée à ses associés avant même d'être méritée. Mohamed Horani est de ceux qui montrent qu'on peut réussir au Maroc, depuis le Maroc, en restant fidèle à ce qu'on est. Un modèle, pour qui croit encore que l'exigence et la solidarité peuvent construire une institution de classe mondiale. Mohamed Horani gave me an hour and a half of his time to answer that question. Hosting this man on CEOs Enlightenment will stay one of the great moments of this journey. Not just because he has led HPS for 31 years. But because he let me see the man behind the company. A 7-year-old who already knows how to rise above an overwhelming family decision. A CEO who resigns on a blank sheet of paper the day someone tries to sideline him. A founder who builds a governance model without hierarchy, where the "boss" of a project can be the driver holding the wheel. From this trajectory, he draws a concept he was never quite able to translate: Al-Falah. Success is measured by a goal reached or missed. Al-Falah is measured by a direction held, even when a goal fails along the way. What stays with me most: the value he carries is never in the numbers he quotes, but in what he does with them. Solidarity taken as far as covering a client's costly mistake, free of charge. Humility placed as the first quality of a leader. Trust given to his partners before it was even earned. Mohamed Horani is one of those who prove you can succeed in Morocco, from Morocco, while staying true to who you are. A model for anyone who still believes that rigor and solidarity can build a world-class institution.     CEOs Enlightenment Ep 18: Building Trust with "Mohsine Benachir"

    Il a révolutionné la digitalisation au Maroc. Il refuse le mot "révolution". Mohsine Benachir préfère parler de contribution, d'ADN, de discrétion , presque de pudeur. Depuis 1994, il construit dans l'ombre. Docteur en physique et optoélectronique formé à Grenoble, il rentre au Maroc porté par une conviction simple : saisir l'opportunité et bâtir autour. Trente ans plus tard, son entreprise fait tourner près de 80% des ministères marocains. Elle a digitalisé les processus IA d'une banque présente dans 18 filiales africaines. Elle a sécurisé, dès 2013, les autorisations d'importation industrielle du pays, zéro papier, traçabilité totale, une prouesse que peu de nations peuvent revendiquer. Mais l'histoire n'a pas été linéaire. Une scission capitalistique en 2012. Une reconquête totale de son entreprise, acte par acte, jusqu'à l'autonomie complète en 2016. Et aujourd'hui encore, un combat quotidien contre des comités bancaires qui ne comprennent pas l'immatériel, et une reconnaissance de la R&D nationale qui se fait toujours attendre. Aujourd'hui, il sort du silence. Pour parler financement, confiance trahie, et l'urgence de créer de vrais champions tech marocains.
