In Acts 8–12, we see God advancing his saving message through persecution, scattered believers, and hearts fully given to Jesus. This sermon traces the story from Pentecost to Peter, Saul, and Cornelius, showing how Luke presents the early church as a people who had seen and heard the risen Christ — and could not stay silent. It also connects Genesis 11 and Acts 2, revealing Pentecost as a redemptive reversal of Babel, where God begins gathering people from every language and nation through the Holy Spirit. Along the way, the message asks a searching question for every believer: what divides our hearts? The call is simple and challenging — to bring our whole lives to Jesus and ask for the undivided heart that makes room for the Spirit's work.
