    Episode 5: Domestic Violence - Moo Baulch

    Today, we speak with Moo Baulch. Moo is a social justice and gender equality leader with more than twenty years’ experience in the non-government and for-purpose private sector. She has a career-long commitment to addressing and preventing violence against women and LGBQTI community, shining a light on vulnerability and promoting human rights in Australia, the UK, Spain and South East Asia. This is demonstrated in her previous work leading peak body Domestic Violence NSW from 2013 to 2019 and more recently as Head of Customer Vulnerability at the Commonwealth Bank. Since July this year, Moo has been working as the Director of Primary Prevention at the inner-city Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre. It’s time to talk - “Domestic Violence”.     Episode 4: Gender-Based Violence through a Cultural Lens - Dr Astrid Perry

    Today, we speak with Dr Astrid Perry. Astrid Perry holds a PhD in Sociology and is currently the Manager of Strategic Policy at Settlement Services International (SSI). A leading not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of humanitarian settlement, accommodation, asylum seeker assistance, foster care and disability support. Astrid’s work experience spans over 30 years in leadership, management and multicultural work. Evident in both in government and non-government sectors. She has held senior leadership and advisory positions with a focus on capacity building, quality service delivery and improving capability to respond to multicultural communities.     Episode 3: Relationships, Mental Health, and Trauma - Mitch Wallis

    Today, we speak with Mitch Wallis. Mitch is the founder of Heart On My Sleeve - a leading global mental health movement. The founder of REAL Mates - a training organisation that helps leaders & staff from top multi-national companies lean into the tough conversations. He is also the founder of Calm Water - a relaxation drink company that relieves stress and anxiety. Mitch has a Masters of Psychology degree from Columbia University in New York and a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney. He is a notable social media influencer & mental health advocate, and also runs a weekly psychology Podcast - "UNDERSTOOD". He is currently writing a book - “7 Ways to Coping” (publishing 2021). Katie's experience and knowledge is demonstrated from her training in welfare services, community development and clinical psychology.     Today, we speak with the remarkable Rochelle Williams-Taylor, a proud Ngemba-Murrawarri woman. Rochelle is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and has been involved in several exhibitions. One of her most memorable experiences was telling her story at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Our conversation with Rochelle covers her life, her identity and her ambition to advocate and empower CSA victim-survivors.
