    The Wound of Betrayal....Healthy Life and Healthy Mind

    Having been abandoned many times, you have lost confidence in love and you are suspicious, anticipating the worst.  This wound of betrayal will try to prevent you from having future meaningful relationships and this can take different patterns.  God's desire is for you to be secure in who He created you to be, and not be defined by others.  Your value comes from above and not below.  Never let anyone devalue the true greatness that lies within you.  You have much to live for and much to be grateful for. The fact that you're still alive is proof that despite Satan's attempt to destroy you through deception, the Lord is using it all for your good and His glory.  Look up, not down, see what's in front of you; not what's in back of you.  Your experience is only a stepping stone toward a brighter future.  Abandon your past; embrace your future for the Lord is ever present with you.   Thank you for listening and please share this podcast with a friend. Surround yourself with people who celebrate you, not just tolerate you. “The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray” (Proverbs 12:26), You are giving your friends a seat at the table in your life. Since there are only a few seats that are close to you, be careful about who you give them to.  To make your reputation enjoyable and develop good habits, you must choose friends with high morals and real character. Those who share similar values.     In this episode "Get Over It and Move On", is a topic that many of us struggle with. It is easier said than done. So, how do you get over it and move on from past failed relationships, hurt/betrayal, disappointments, etc.? Getting over it and moving on means BE DONE WITH IT because better days are ahead. We can't move forward and progress in life looking backward. We can not do anything about what happened yesterday, but we can take control of our actions and emotions today by changing our thinking to make the decision to forgive and let go instead of getting revenge. You can learn to take the high road and choose not to be offended. It takes discipline to learn and trust God in everything no matter the circumstances we face. When we learn how to get over things, we are kindly rewarded and the adversary won't be able to get a foothold in our lives. The truth is you were created to be an Overcomer. Today is the day to start looking ahead with excitement and optimism. The enemy does not want us to learn about this humility because he desires us to stay ignorant and walk in unforgiveness, bitterness, and anger. Do not give the devil a place. Ephesians 4:26-29. The Lord's desire for us is to walk in wholeness and freedom. So give it to the Lord and go to sleep. Psalms 37:7, II Timothy 2:3-5, John 16:33. In our previous segment, we talked about how to walk in forgiveness according to Scripture; The Word of God. In Part 2 we will continue the discussion to help you to forgive with God's help and walk in complete restoration. We must learn how to give and receive forgiveness daily. It is a lifestyle for every believer in Christ Jesus. Our peace and joy depend on how we handle offenses and walk in love. It is a process and it does not happen overnight. Humility and understanding why it is vital to forgive others will help us in walking toward Victory as often as we continue to do it. In Luke 11:4 Jesus clearly explains the ramifications of unforgiveness. God wants us to mature and grow, especially in our way of thinking. Let's face it, right mindsets produce the life we want. But, it takes discipline. We are commanded to have the mind of Christ. It is a spiritual law! Laws are made to protect us. When we operate in the mind of Christ, we will have more joy, more peace, and a better quality of life. The rewards are endless, it is inevitable!     Welcome back wonderful listeners to the Changing Times Podcast, by Healthy Mind and Healthy Life. In this episode "Let Go and Let God Continued" we are continuing to discuss how to Let Go and Let God in a fallen world. This can be a difficult thing to do, but not impossible. God created us to be more than a Conqueror. Therefore, we are to step into alignment into our calling to do what God's word says we are to do. I heard Derek Prince say that, 'We do not have the luxury to walk in unforgiveness'. What are you holding on to that could be detrimental to your future? Is it worth it? It is time to think about moving forward into your destiny by leaving the past behind you. I never saw anyone riding a bicycle to their destination looking backwards. But, somehow we think that we can continue our life journey successfully without having to deal with or confront the giants in our lives. God's desire for all of us is to get free by letting go of those things in our lives that hinder us from walking in the fullness of God and his kingdom. The truth that the devil does not want you to believe is that you can be free today from persons, places, and things. God's anointing and power through the Holy Spirit makes us free from the bondages of sin, strongholds, and disappointments. We discuss two different Biblical stories with contrasting outcomes, one was favorable and the other was not. Learn how to let go and let God in every situation with the help of the Holy Spirit.
