Core Demonstration (Feat. KaressthaMC & Samadhi Cyph)

Core Demonstration is a Portland-based hip hop group. Their music catalog contains a wide-array of styles ranging from the lo-fi, esoteric, G-Funk, and Hyphy. I had the chance to speak with Core Demo members, KaressthaMC and Samadhi Cyph about Portland Hip Hop’s growth and how the scene is evolving, the spiritual influence contained in my favorite project from the Portland collective-- God Notes. King Shampz

King Shampz is an emcee from West Philly. Along with his brother, and producer, Azzan, Shampz founded Dead Wrong Records. The label is filled with other talented artists who share a similar aesthetic with Shampz--a gritty sample-based sound with extensive wordplay and reflective braggadocio lyrics.
