    Norman talks to Chris Gibaud about his calling as an author, writing material warning of the state of the world. One can say that Chris is "a man of Issachar" (see 1 Chronicles 12) as "one who understands the times so that he can know what God's people ought to do".  Chris goes on to explain the content and reasoning behind his first 5 letters.  This programme was first broadcast on FlameCCR and details of Chris's letters can be obtained from flameccr@gmail.com.

    Norman disability 2018 - Testimony 2019 (updated January 2024) plus King & Country "JOY"

    Norman Polden (station manager, Flame CCR) takes the opportunity to testify to God's goodness in helping him through sudden traumatic disability in February 2018. King & Country's music track "JOY" echoes in Norman's mind and in this short audio track as he reflects on James 1 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything". Now in January 2024, 6 years on from this traumatic event, Norman is still actively managing Flame CCR (Christian and Community Radio) and enjoying life at home in Greasby, Wirral.

    David opens the Flame studio door to Lawrence who talks about Operation Mobilisation and their ship, Logos Hope, which is visiting Liverpool in October 2026. Rob Davo is the second guest and talks about his miraculous Christian conversion experience in 2025 that has changed his life. Other interesting parts are the quiz plus a variety of music.     Thank God for football - Everton and Liverpool

    A multi-million pound business - but how much do you know about the origin of your football club ? Did you know that 12 of the Premier Football League clubs trace their origins to a church ? These programmes provide researched information back to  the 19th Century and the formulation of the game we now call football. The talks are based on the book "THANK GOD FOR FOOTBALL" available from Amazon and  SPCK and are voiced by the author, Peter Lupson  They were recorded at Flame CCR's Wirral studios and are also broadcast by Premier Radio, UCB and TWR.
