I’ve been away from piping for a while and am just coming back in. A friend recommended this podcast to me because he loves it, and I am now a fan. It’s both encouraging and disheartening to know that while some stuff with piping has changed, so much hasn’t. I hope these guys keep their show going.

Listening to these degenerates, who are f@*#ed up in all the right ways, has that same hazy regret filled memories of band trips feeing. Thanks for keeping me entertained fellas!!!

Guys, don't sell yourselves short! ALL the casts have been fun, but your "Richards Parks Gets a Blumpkin" was positively BRILLIANT! You put a human face to the bagpipe star! Many think the bagpipes are a 'stuffy' instrument, but this interview enforced that even the best of the best in the bagpipe world are just as human as you and I. It gives me hope that even I, a lowly service band piper, can someday become something much more! #LoveTheShow #WouldBeOneOfTheSix if I hadnt stalled so long! Keep it up boys! Filth. Utter filth.

It's profane, often flips boogers at good taste, and features occasional drinking games with resulting blackouts. It's also hilariously funny, regularly relevant, and has a stable of drop-in guests and regular contributors that are clearly the envy of other podcasters. Under it all, these guys have good hearts and want the best for American piping. If you listen in, you'll learn a lot, you'll laugh a lot, and you'll wonder if it's at all appropriate to share this show with other folks in your band. Who knows, they might not be as uptight as you think they are.
