    Chapter 20 | Sustainable Growth & Fulfillment

    "Welcome to the to the end of the beginning, my friends. You hear about it in diets and addiction. You hear about it in toxic relationships and you see it happen in the movies. People make massive changes and proclamations that they are DONE living life the way that they’ve been settling for...and then; they go back. People often give up ahead of time and end up not trying at all because they use this as evidence as to why it’s not possible for them. For example: I’m not going to diet because then I’ll just gain it back anyway or the infamous, Maybe I just like the bad guys, the good ones are too boring or hard to find. *Insert eye roll* In business it can look like, I’m not going to apply, there’s no way they’re going to hire me or I hate feeling like a gross salesman. On all of these occasions we have a common denominator.     Chapter 19 | Purposefully VS Perfectly

    "Maybe you’re looking for validation, maybe you’ve already done the work, or maybe you haven’t dug deeply into this part yet, but committing to personal or professional development and growth does not mean that the rest of your life will continue to get easier or that nothing will ever go wrong again. What I most commonly see is that by doing this work you have the ability to control how you feel in your own world regardless of what happens IN the world. Living your life on purpose and living your life with purpose sound like some really cliché tagline’s from a coach who’s about to tell you to fix your mindset by annihilating your limiting beliefs. To be clear, I say, living your life on purpose and living your life with purpose. I don’t say, live your life perfectly or else…I mean I used to say that to myself, but we all know how that one turned out. We are human and we are subjected to the human experience and regardless of how messy it gets, the purpose factor doesn’t have to change. It can though, because not everybody chooses to live with purpose. And some people lose their purpose.     Chapter 18 | Processing The Change

    "During and after settling into who you’re becoming you’ll become increasingly aware of the change you create around yourself. As you align yourself with this new self perspective and lifestyle, you will be presented with a new and shiny set of choices and you’ll have thoughts about these choices. You can remain ahead of the curve in the evolution of your higher self by being aware of how you’re going to process any and all change that happens around you while being double aware of the thoughts you’re having about it. You’re gonna have to excuse me because I don’t have a fancier word for that one yet.     Chapter 16 | Fuel The Body That Gets You There

    "How you fuel your body will either help or hinder your goals. Let’s take a second and reflect back on the fact that my mom passed away from preventable disease and my father is a recovering alcoholic. So, go ahead and get cozy, because this next chapter means a lot to me and I’ve got a lot to say. We have talked about creating a nourishing environment for your mind, and now I'd like to get intentional about how to fuel it physiologically. We are the keeper of our minds, spirits, and bodies. We must commit to being an advocate for ourselves in all case scenarios. This is a lesson I stick to, not because I lost 100 pounds and think a bikini body is priority, but because of my family's medical history. I learned that I'm prone to type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and certain types of cancer.     Chapter 15 | Inspiration To Action

    "As you learn to create the thoughts that are going to be creating the results in your life, you are bound to be filled with ideas and future challenges to take on. This chapter will be about organizing those new and intentional ideas and implementing the goal action that goes right along with them. Not everyone who goes through the personal development process wants to start a business, run a marathon, or change the world, but it can become a side effect, so fair warning. Sometimes they just want to change their own world...and that’s what this is about. All of this, every single part of this book, is here to help set anyone up with a foundation to balance and grow real success in any part of their life. As your environment changes both in and outside of your mind, you will begin to gather information that sparks the thinking about your future and what’s possible. It's pretty normal to start dreaming up lofty ideas of training for marathons, having abs, traveling the world, making millions of dollars, or something of this equivalent to you. I want you to know that I will never, EVER, tell you that anything is too ambitious for you to chase, but I will tell you that there’s a strategic way to get there. You can be sloppy and make it more likely to struggle mentally, or you can set a plan in place to bring these things to life.     Chapter 14 | Believe DO Become

    "When people believe in you…or not…do it anyway. Eventually, you will have real people in your life who support you. Even if it’s just yourself for now, and if you don’t know it already, that’s actually all you need. Be careful here not to give your power away to bitterness, we have to remember that sometimes others can't access their creativity, drive, or courage yet. It takes these things, and more, to cultivate success and belief from nothing but an idea or a dream. Then, when people do begin to believe in you and share your big wins, you will experience some thoughts lingering around your head like; why did it take so long for them to believe it was possible for me? You might feel angry, sad, upset, bitter, or some other flavor of resentment. If this happens, remember to see and appreciate the differences between who you are and who they are. Allow them to live their life, and remember that they have no obligation to think or feel how you see fit.     Chapter 13 | From Setback To Set UP

    "When you’re correctly utilizing anticipation and strategy instead of emotions like anxiety and constant worry that things might go wrong, you’ll be ready and willing to rise again. When you experience a loss of momentum, inspiration, creativity, and even courage seems fleeting; you must take action and have a plan in place for a rescue mission. You see, people might think that this book is all about what’s next, or all about how grand things will be on the other side but it’s never better there than it is here. In both places you’ll be stuck with the same brain, and that little lady requires constant supervision. The magic behind becoming lies within the fact that you are always becoming, like right now and tomorrow and in two weeks from now. She’s not defined by the hit. She’s defined within the moments between every hit and every get up, and the audacity to shine again anyway. It’s the only reason why your dreams will come true one day.
